Fans Can’t Get Over How ‘Poised’ & ‘Mature’ Princess Charlotte Is In Clip Of Her Butting Heads With Prince Louis

For the most part, the royals live lives that many of us cannot relate to. From their traditions to their duties, they continue to fascinate people worldwide. However, sometimes, they show that they’re just like us in some ways. Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis did this with audiences worldwide as they proved that despite the responsibilities and privileges of their titles and future lives, they’re still normal siblings. Princess Charlotte, in particular, showed that despite being a princess, she is first and foremost a big sister to Prince Louis. 

Royal enthusiasts watched the two interact on the balcony of Buckingham Palace at Trooping the Colour, catching the moment when Princess Charlotte, 9, butted heads with her younger brother Prince Louis, 6. They joined their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with the rest of the royals, on the famous balcony overlooking crowds of adoring fans. Millions caught the adorable moment between Prince William and Princess Catherine’s youngest children. Like all siblings, Charlotte and Louis have their tiffs and are likely to butt heads… sometimes literally! 

In a video posted on Instagram, Princess Charlotte was seen turning towards Prince Louis, and at the same time, Louis turned toward their mother behind them, causing him and Charlotte to butt heads. Louis continued without acknowledging the collision, while Princess Charlotte’s immediate reaction made the incident more entertaining.

An equally funny caption accompanied the video.

“Little accident on stage 😂😂,” the caption read, “love how Charlotte paused then realized that it actually did hurt 😂😂😂.”

Instead of making a scene or even crying, Princess Charlotte’s reaction to the accidental head bumping was on for the books. After pausing for a bit and looking slightly annoyed at her Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte simply goes on like nothing happened. The entire interaction has amused and charmed social media users ever since it was captured. Social media users commented on Princess Charlotte’s calmness, with one writing:

“Charlotte is so mature and adorable. I just love her 💕”

Another person shared similar sentiments, commenting:

“She’s just so poised love her so much.” 

This was not the first time the young royals stole the show on camera. Prince Louis is known for his adorable personality and cheeky antics, as evidenced by his facial expressions and yawning during the coronation of his grandfather, King Charles III. On the same occasion, the little boy made funny faces while in the carriage back to Buckingham Palace before dancing, clapping and fidgeting on the balcony later. 

For her part, Princess Charlotte usually takes on the stern role of a guiding sister to both her brothers, especially Prince Louis. At The Big Helpout, to honour the coronation of King Charles, Prince William, Princess Catherine and their children volunteered their services for various projects. During the day, the Scout Helper said Louis “was doing a good job,” and Charlotte was there to aid him. 

“She was advising him, obviously! ‘Don’t do that, Louis!’ — things like that,” she said.

The young royals continue to show their personalities as they grow and are guaranteed to shine in their own ways!
