“Vincent” was originally written in 1971 as a tribute to the noted artist, Vincent Van Gogh. In the new rendition, Ed used his guitar skills to really change up the song. While Ed Sheeran is known for “The Shape of You,” this new performance definitely shows his versatility. In the song, he strums the guitar as he sings along with Don.

The pair alternated singing each verse to make a stunning duet. After the performance, Don said that Ed is a quick study and one of his favorite artists to perform with. Don also got to perform with Van Morrison and Roger Daltrey. This group included some of the finest artists that Don has ever performed with. The new tribute was just one of the many popular covers that Sheeran has revolutionized.

He has also performed the song “Mercy” with James Blunt and Nina Simone's “Feeling Good.” Another popular cover was Little Mix's “Touch” for the BBC Live Lounge. The actual fundraiser was an invitation-only event. Howie Mandel was the auctioneer at the auction, which includes rare music memorabilia. One of the more exceptional items was a guitar that was signed by 75 of the biggest names in music history. Meanwhile, the director and actor, Judd Apatow, served as the host for the entire evening.

In a new trailer, Ed Sheeran jokes about not having any more ideas. At the same time, he states that the latest album is his best work yet. The songs are connected by their focus on family and make a truly career-defining album.
