Faith Hill is one of the most popular stars in the world of country music. She has sold over 40 million albums across the globe and earned plenty of awards.
Born in Ridgeland, Mississippi, she was adopted by her parents and was raised in a town called Star. Her birth name is Audrey Faith Perry.
Her talent in music began at a very young age, as her first-ever public performance was at a 4-H luncheon; she was only seven years old at the time. She had also been exposed to music since her early days, as she was able to watch Elvis Presley perform at the State Fair Coliseum when she was nine.
Later on, the singer went on to have a successful career of her own following the release of her first album, “Take Me as I Am” in 1993. Thanks to the breakout song “Wild One,” she broke records and even became the first female country singer in over three decades to dominate the Billboard charts for four consecutive weeks.
Regarding her love life, Hill married musician Tim McGraw in 1996. Their long marriage and love for each other have cemented their reputation as a powerhouse in the music industry. It isn’t often that a marriage lasts for decades when the spotlight of fame is so strong, but McGraw and Hill have made it look easy.
During the length of their marriage, the couple has raised three girls who have all grown up to become remarkable women.
Despite her success, there were still people who shared negative comments about Faith Hill and even accused her of plastic surgery, but regardless, she still embraced aging.
In December 2021, Faith Hill and her husband, Tim McGraw, appeared on the cover of People Magazine together, and people noticed that there was something off with the singer’s appearance as many pointed out that they didn’t recognize her.
In the cover story, the couple, who are also actors outside the music industry, discussed their experiences while playing roles together for the first time. The pair appeared in the series titled “1883,” a prequel to the popular program “Yellowstone.”
In the interview, Hill said: “We have made it a point not to work on our scenes together until we’re on set… It’s important that we react to one another naturally as characters, not as husband and wife.”
They also gave fans an insight into their personal lives as they revealed that, at the time, they had been empty nesters as all of their daughters already moved out of their home in Nashville to pursue individual careers.
Even though the couple appeared to be happy with their lives in the interview, there were people who still shared their thoughts about Hill’s appearance in the photos published by the publication.
“She looks different,” one quipped, while another one wrote, “Wow, I did not even recognize her.”
Another one then accused her of plastic surgery as they posted, “Sorry but Faith isn’t nearly as pretty as before her face surgery. I just saw her on a program and didn’t recognize her. Sad.”
“I think what looks weird is the possible eyebrow lift. Something that left a surprised look on her face,” one speculated.

Even though Hill had been a target of plastic surgery accusations, she still embraced what she looked like even as she was aging.
In an interview with New Beauty published in March 2017, Hill revealed that she didn’t pay that much attention to aging. She was turning 50 at the time.
“I honestly don’t pay attention to it. If I did, my girls would notice and I don’t want that. It’s not a message I want them to have,” she said.
She also shared her secret to being happy, as she added, “The secret is being confident—with your age, with yourself. Life is so precious. We only have one; what’s the point of stressing about all of that? Each decade has been different. Each day is a blessing. That’s how I want to look at it.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Hill discussed how negative comments on social media can be so mean as they only look at people based on their physical appearance, not the inside, which is what matters the most.
“Social media can be so cruel, but we’ve always emphasized the importance of having a realistic take and a healthy view regarding beauty to our girls. They know it’s not just on the outside. It’s really important to us to teach them that beauty is on the inside,” she said.
Regarding her take on beauty trends, Hill admitted that she tried a lot that were terrible in the past, especially since she grew up in the 80s when the trend of “’80s caked-on makeup” became popular.
Even though trends come and go, McGraw still preferred her natural look as she revealed that her husband likes it when she doesn’t have makeup on.
