In the video, you see a brass band just grooving away on the sidewalk with a huge crowd surrounding it. Naturally, this draws the interest not only of the local public but also cops and their horses!
This is precisely what happened this night when a police horse and cop dance on up before continuing on their way down the street. This goes to show that even though the police have strict rules, they can still enjoy themselves while on their shift.
Although a good rider always knows how to control their horses, there is no way that the cop was able to control his horse to pull off these moves without practicing beforehand. The horse seems to understand the music very well, and he moves in time with the beat. Sometimes it even looks like he is trying to copy what the other dancers are doing.
One of the best parts of the performance is the anticipation before he begins. He trots into the middle of the circle where everyone is dancing, stops, then suddenly starts grooving. The looks on the peoples' faces show that they were fearing the worst.
As the horse started to dance, the police officer didn't seem to mind at all!
Witness for yourself the amazing sense of rhythm the horse has. You can tell by the cheering of the crowd that the horse has got some serious style! Watch out for the tiny details that he performs perfectly such as the light footwork and twirls.
