Elderly Teacher Walks Out & Tells Classroom She ‘Won’t Ever Be Back’ After Being Bullied By Students

With all the progress we have made as humans, one would think that bullying would no longer be a problem. Unfortunately, bullying is all too real and is quite common throughout schools and across the Internet. It’s something that many people encounter at some point in their lives, typically sometime during their school years.

Most commonly, bullying is experienced by children in schools, particularly in high school. However, a now-viral video shows that bullying comes in all forms. Instead of students being bullied, it's a teacher getting bullied by her students. 

In a video posted by TikTok user Kimico, it shows the teacher visibly upset, as she shouted in a distraught voice across the whole classroom. 

“They made the teacher leave,” the caption said. 

Unbeknownst to many, the case of students bullying teachers is more prevalent than many might know. A survey conducted by the Teachers Federation in Canada found that 35 percent of teachers had witnessed a student physically assaulting and or intimidating them or another teacher. 

Elsewhere in the study, they also found that 60 percent of teachers were verbally abused by students at a level “more than just an angry exchange.”

In the video, the teacher seemed to be at her breaking point, with her voice faltering and breaking at some point as she screamed at her class full of unruly students. The person who captured the video footage seemed to be one of her students. 

As the video was uploaded on social media, the internet was angered by the students' behavior which led to the teacher’s walkout, with all the sympathy going to the teacher. 

Teaching is perhaps one of the noblest professions in the world. The compassion, patience and commitment a teacher has to have for their students has to be overflowing and at most times, immeasurable. That is why it is unfortunate that the students in the said TikTok video came together in pushing the teacher to her breaking point. 

"And people are laughing! I'm gonna go, I don't even care if I don't get paid today. I'm just a stupid old white lady, that's all,” she screamed at the classroom as she picked up her things in frustration from the desk. 

The students, who thought she was joking, kept on laughing at her.

“Yeah. Do whatever you want to do, I don’t care. I’m gonna do it anyway.”

They were surprised when she went to storm out of the classroom, but she continued to do so. 

“I’m walking. I’m walking right out the door. I won’t ever be back,” she said. 

As the video was uploaded on Facebook by News.com.au, several people from the internet were disappointed with the behavior of the students.

“Teachers use to be treated like our 2nd parents. It breaks my heart to hear so many teachers are leaving this profession,” a user shared.

“Students and kids are so hard on teachers and disrespectful nowadays. They take for granted all the beautiful things school teaches (sic) and gives us. Free education, socialization, friends, food, breaks, support. The list goes on, yet kids are still disrespectful to teachers. It’s a shame honestly, I’m ashamed in the society we have become globally,” one commented. 

Another video that the original poster uploaded on TikTok showed what happened moments before the teacher screamed at the students. She seemed to be arguing with a student as other students laughed in the background.
