Dying Horse Is Moments Away From Being Put Down When Distraught Stable Mate Miraculously Revives Her

Jane Lipington had no idea what she was about to discover when she walked into her stables. Beatrice, one of her horses was on the ground writhing in pain! She knew she had to act fast but getting a huge horse off the ground is not as easy as it sounds. 

They tried for hours to try and coax the poor horse onto her feet so that they could treat her but they were unsuccessful.

They were about to give up when another one of their horses came to the rescue. Beau, Beatrice's stablemate, leaned over the stable door and started to bite her neck. It wasn't aggressive but he was definitely trying to send a message. He kept going, encouraging Beatrice to get up. He continued this for a few minutes when all of a sudden something amazing happened... 

Beatrice managed to get up and the stable staff immediately started treating her. 

Jane said she could not believe her eyes. She told The Telegraph that Beau is true hero; 

"It is absolutely astonishing. We were prepared to lose her and had arranged for her to be put down but Beau knew what to do.

As we were walking her, we phoned to cancel her being put down. It was that close. Our vet was astounded. We are used to seeing extraordinary interactions between the horses but we have never witnessed a horse saving another's life.

Beau achieved what six hours of human endeavor with straps and machinery had failed to - he managed to lift Beatrice up off the floor which has allowed her to live on."

Thanks to Beau's persistence, Beatrice made a full recovery and never knew how close to death she had come. The pair now get to spend the rest of their days together - a true love story!
