Dwayne Johnson is best known to the world by his ring name, "The Rock," from his day as a professional wrestler. Nowadays, Johnson is best known for being an actor as well as a businessman. However, during his former career, Johnson was seen as one of the best professional wrestlers of all time, as he wrestled for WWE for eight years.

Johnson was born on May 2, 1972, in Hayward, California. He played football while in college at the University of Miami and even won a national championship in 1991. While he once had dreams of becoming a professional football player, Johnson failed to be drafted and instead signed with a Canadian football team. However, he was later cut from the team.
Fortunately, Johnson had other skills, and as part of the Anoa'i family, his father, Rocky and grandfather Peter Maivia were professional wrestlers, helping Johnson secure a contract with
WWE in 1996. The rest is history.

Since then, Johnson has been a household name for a litany of reasons, as he has starred in plenty of films over the course of his career, including "Hercules," "Moana," "Jungle Cruise" and several of the "Fast and Furious" films. Aside from his successful wrestling and acting career, Johnson plays the real-life roles of husband and father. The star was originally married to bodybuilder Dany Garcia before separating in 2001. They share one daughter together, Simone Johnson. Almost two decades later, he married music producer Lauren Hashian. Together, the Hollywood couple shares two young daughters. Meeting in 2006, Johnson shared that he is extremely lucky to have found love again.

In an interview with People in 2012, Johnson said, "I was so fortunate to have fallen in love once." "To fall in love again? That's a hard thing to do twice in the position I'm in. I'm one lucky son of a bitch," he added. Separating in 2001, Johnson and Garcia didn't officially divorce until 2007.

Johnson and his now wife Hashian originally met in 2006 when Johnson was filming "The Game Plan." They started dating a year later. Years after starting dating, the couple made their red carpet debut in 2013 at the premiere of "G.I. Joe: Retaliation." Being mostly private about his relationship, in 2015, the star gave major credit to his then-girlfriend. Speaking with Esquire, he shared, "We do these stories and we talk so much about the business end, the success end, but then Lauren isn't mentioned and my daughter isn't mentioned," he said. "I always like making sure we find the balance and my home life is in there and Lauren Hashian is in there and my daughter is in there." "You gotta get the better half in there. With all the cool shit and success that I've been lucky enough to get? That doesn't happen unless the home life is solid," he added.

Before tying the knot in 2019, the Hollywood couple brought two beautiful girls into the world. In December of 2015, the couple welcomed their first daughter together, Jasmine. In a thoughtful Instagram post, the proud father shared, "Christmas came early! Within minutes of being born she was laying on daddy's chest. And being a grateful man takes on a whole new meaning."

In August of 2018, the couple welcomed their second daughter together, Tiana Gia.

Finally, in August of 2019, Johnson and Hashian got married after nearly 12 years of being together. In an intimate ceremony in Hawaii, the couple said I do. The star has gushed that he is in constant awe of his wife and partner. In an Instagram post in May of 2021, he shared, "@laurenhashianofficial who is undoubtedly the KINDEST, WARMEST & HAPPIEST (and toughest;) SOUL (as all of you who know her will agree) in the world," he said. He added, "You are the shining example to our daughters who's love and adoration for you is boundless - that it's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice."

According to E News, the husband said that watching his wife be a mom is a true honor. "Watching Lauren be a mom has been one of the most enlightening things I've ever seen," he shared. "You see as a man, you see your lady, your partner, your woman, your one, you see them in a certain light and then when they become Mom, it's a whole other perspective that if you open your eyes wide enough, it's like a kaleidoscope. You click it a couple of times and it just changes everything," the star added.

In another Instagram post, the actor wrote, "Lauren does it all with a big genuine smile and is truly the kindest and sweetest soul you'll ever meet...Of all the human beings on this earth she could have as her partner—she chose me. One big, brown, bald, tattooed, very lucky SOB."
