Dolly Parton's New Christmas Album 'A Holly Dolly Christmas' To Debut In The Autumn

Dolly Parton, 74, will be releasing a Chrismas album titled A Holly Dolly Christmas in the fall.

Christmas is always a special time of year and one that many of us hold near and dear to our hearts. However, it's been a rough year so far, and we could all use a little bit of extra holiday joy this year. Some of us spend quite a lot of time listening to Christmas music year-round anyway. And with the kind of year we've had thus far, we may as well let it be Christmas all the time. Thankfully, Dolly Parton has come to save the day. This fall, she'll be releasing an all-new Chrismas album titled A Holly Dolly Christmas.

Just recently, Dolly announced her album would be coming out in the fall. As of right now, we don't have an official release date. However, according to SmoothRadio.com, she told the 650 AM WSM radio station that she had just finished the album, so we expect to have an official release date within the next few months, and we can anticipate hearing her happy, cheery voice singing some of our Christmas favorites.

Fans of Dolly should be extremely excited by this news. She had put her music on hold since 2017, as she has had a variety of other projects currently on her plate. She is best known for her musical career but also has international fame for a variety of other talents, including her acting career.

She takes part in many, many movies — however, in just as many of those movies, she appears to play herself, which is often half the fun. She's exceptionally well known and easy to recognize, almost always playing the classic country sweetheart. According to Bang Showbiz NZ, She has also been working on maintaining and upkeeping Dollywood, her personal theme park.

A Holly Dolly Christmas has all of us extremely excited. While we don't know too much about the album yet, in her interview with the radio station, she let us know some of the details. For instance, there will be quite a few duets on this album. We also know at least a few of the tracks that will be included on the album itself.

We know for sure that Dolly has songs with Michael Bublé, for instance. Bublé is exceptionally well known for his holiday music and has several extremely popular Christmas albums. Additionally, she will have another duet with Billy Ray Cyrus.

While nobody is surprised, as the two have a well-known friendship, we are sure it will be good. Dolly is also joined on one song by Cyrus's daughter, Miley Cyrus. Jimmy Fallon will appear on the album, as well, much to our surprise. Of course, Dolly also will have a song with her brother, Randy, and her niece, Heidi.

On the album, we can expect some classical favorites, such as I Saw Mama Kissing Santa Claus and other traditional holiday songs. We will also get the song Circle of Love from the special that Dolly starred in recently called Christmas of Many Colors. While these are the only tracks we have confirmed, we are all excited to see what the album will look like.

It's been quite some time since Dolly released a Christmas album, and fans everywhere are exceptionally excited to hear from her. Because of the current world climate, we've all been feeling just a little bit down in the dumps lately. Clearly, though, she is ready to help us get back into the Christmas spirit.

Even if you're someone who refuses to listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving, there's no stopping anyone from listening to Dolly's new album the day it is released. Christmas will start whenever Dolly releases her album, as far as we are concerned. Until then, we will be eagerly awaiting the tracklist and release date. Hopefully we all get some of our favorite Christmas classics.
