Dog Gets Stolen And Dumped - So She Takes Herself To The Hospital

Dogs have long been said to be man's best friend, for obvious reasons. Though countless tens of thousands of them - if not millions - take spills inside, dig through full trash cans, and scare mail delivery persons, next to nobody can resist their affinity for getting loved on, kissing human friends, and overall cuteness.
This Turkish man's beloved, athletic, purebred German Shepherd was missing when he arrived home from that day's long, grueling shift.
Unfortunately, up to some two million dogs are stolen every year, says the United States Department of Agriculture - and that's just in the United States. Many dog thieves commit such crimes because strong, attractive, and purebred dogs can fetch thousands of dollars on the market.

He looked around his property, asked his neighbors if they had seen his pup, and posted to social media in asking for others' help. Silla, his nine-month-old German Shepherd, was nowhere to be found.
In an attempt to find his adorable, playful pupperino, Mr. Keskindir put out a local advertisement across news media circles in the Turkish province of Amasya that cost roughly 300 United States Dollars.
After that advertisement quickly made its rounds on television, social media, and email chains, the thieves were rendered generally unable to sell Silla.
istockphotos.com/EffetreIn return, the still-unknown thieves released Silla miles away from her home, left in poor weather conditions. As if nothing worse could happen, the doggo was then attacked by stray canines! This left Silla injured.
Serdar's intelligent pup miraculously navigated his way to the nearest hospital. Serdar actually brought Silla to work on a daily basis, where she helped rescue crashed drivers. He believes that Silla somehow recognized an ambulance and followed it via scent to the closest hospital.
