As one of the largest cities on the east coast, Boston is not a cheap place to live. Apartments are often overpriced and cramped for families or couples. The problem of space is exacerbated when living with a few furry friends. Bethany Coleman and her boyfriend were in this exact situation and still had room in their hearts for one more dog.
Bethany and Tyson were living together in a one bedroom apartment in Boston with two older cats and a female cairn terrier mix named Rogue. Bethany had rescued Rogue from the Animal Rescue League of Boston when she was only a few weeks old. Rogue was immediately accepted by the two cats and was even smaller in size.

Bethany and Tyson were leading happy lives in their Boston apartment with three furry friends. They had no plans to take in more pets as space was becoming limited. All of these plans changed one fateful day when Rogue and Bethany were heading out to run some errands. Last Hope K9 Rescue, a local dog shelter in the area, were offering dogs up for adoption in an attempt to find permanent homes for the pets.
While walking past the dogs, Bethany noticed something that took her by surprise. There was a dog that looked identical to Rogue. Bethany continued to glance back and forth in shock at the appearance of the two dogs. Rogue noticed the similarities as well and looked at his owner with pleading eyes.
Bethany knew that Rogue was asking to take her doppelgänger home. Being a natural dog-lover, Bethany couldn't resist. She adopted the dog and now had two Rogue's to look after.
Within a month of being together, the whole family had grown accustomed to the new living conditions. A permanent move to Hawaii and a housing upgrade helped to ease the family into the new transition. Bethany and Tyson decided to call their new dog Beast.
The two dogs are happy in their new home and are enjoying each other's company more than ever. Bethany has even started an Instagram page for the two dogs. The page is called 'RogueAndBeast'.
She shares pictures and videos of the two dogs spending time with each other. Rogue and Beast enjoy playing in the park, taking naps and celebrating birthday's together. The two cats even get some exposure on the social media account.
