Devastated Mother Is Told Her Micro Baby Is Bound To Die - But The Baby Proves Doctors Wrong

As a mother, it can be difficult to listen to the advice that doctors give, especially if that advice could mean losing one of the most important people in your life. Brianne Jourdin learned in 2003 that there are times when life isn't fair and that not every baby born is healthy.
Brianne delivered a baby girl in 2003 who she loved with all her heart. Baby Kenadie was only 2.5 pounds when she was born and only 11 inches long where most babies are about 19 to 20 inches long and weigh around 7 pounds.

After Kenadie was born, Brianne discovered that her baby was missing part of her brain. She was called Thumbelina by the nurses who cared for her in the hospital because she was so tiny. Brianne's doctors informed her that Kenadie would likely die soon after delivery or within the first few days to weeks of being alive. Brianne decided to have Kenadie baptized soon after she was born in the event that she did pass away.
Doctors then told Brianne to take her baby home so that she could die in peace. However, after eight months, Kenadie was still alive and was diagnosed with dwarfism. While Brianne knew that there would be some frightening medical issues associated with the diagnosis, she was ready to face the challenges head-on with her daughter. Fast forward 14 years to see that Kenadie is still alive and enjoying life as much as possible.
Watch to see what Kenadie's life is like and how Brianne tries to give her daughter the normal daily routine that other children have at her age!
