Demi Moore Posts Photo Showing All Three Willis Women, Showcasing Their Family Black Hair

Demi Moore is an icon in her own right, and after celebrating her milestone 60th birthday in November 2022, she’s defying cultural norms and feminine expectations with a new swimwear line honoring health and beauty at any age.

Moore rose to fame in the 1980s. According to Biography.com, Moore hit the big time in 1985 when she portrayed “Jules” in “St. Elmo’s Fire.” Moore became a core member of the “Brat Pack.” According to Insider, the term “Brat Pack” was coined by New York Magazine journalist David Blum to describe Hollywood’s rising young movie stars. Alongside Moore, the Brat Pack consisted of Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy.

Moore made her leading lady debut in “Ghost,” where she starred alongside Patrick Swayze. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe nomination. GoldDerby ranked “Ghost” as one of Moore’s most outstanding performances, while her roles in “A Few Good Men” and “About Last Night” were ranked second and third.

Moore has been married three times, first to Freddy Moore, then to fellow superstar actor Bruce Willis and lastly Ashton Kutcher. These days, you’re most likely to find her chilling at her Idaho home with her family. Now, the star is set to take on a new and exciting role in life – being a grandmother to Rumer Willis’ daughter, Louetta Isley Thomas Willis. But aside from that, Moore also cherishes her firstborn Rumer. In celebration of Rumer’s 35th birthday, her mother posted a carousel of throwback photos of them together up to her most recent ones. It’s safe to say Moore knows the importance of family and friendships more than anyone after all the ups and downs she went through over her life. Now at 60 years of age, she enjoys a good relationship with all her daughters, her ex-husband Bruce, his wife Emma Heming and their children Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, 8. 

Despite their split, Bruce and Moore continued to co-parent their daughters to stunning effect. 

Rumer, the eldest among their daughters, attested to an interview with Larry King that she never had to split up vacations or birthdays with her divorced parents and went on to say that they always did events as one whole family unit. 

Rumer’s pregnancy fulfilled her lifelong desire to be a mom. During an appearance on the “Bathroom Chronicles” podcast in February 2023, she revealed that being a mom was something she always wanted.

“It’s like one of those weird things that I know sometimes people have such clarity about, like ‘Oh, I want to be a musician, I want this,’ and it was never a question for me that I wanted to be a mom,” she said. 

On April 5, 2023, Rumer sat down with People Magazine to talk about the impending birth that she said had given her family a welcome boost during such a challenging time. She said she hoped her child would be imbued with the same “goofiness” inherent in her family.

Rumer announced on Instagram on April 18, 2023, that she had welcomed her and Thomas’ first child, Louetta Isley. 

"✨ Louetta Isley Thomas Willis ✨ You are pure magic 🌱," Rumer captioned the post. “Born at home on Tuesday, Apr. 18. You are more than we ever dreamed of ✨.”

Notably, Louetta’s arrival at the family was marked as a first as Rumer was the first among Bruce’s children to have a child. Speaking to People Magzine, about the arrival of her daughter at the time, Rumer had this to say:

"[My parents] are so excited. My sisters are so excited, and it’s so fun to be bringing in the first grandkid in our family, especially because we’re such a huge group at this point.” 

According to another source from the publication, the “Die Hard” actor is “happy about becoming a grandpa.” 

 “He loves having a big family. They are all spending Christmas together,” the source elaborated. “Bruce is enjoying not working and having more family time. He likes being around his girls more.”

Although Bruce expressed that he wanted a “grandson” because there’s a lot of “female energy” already in the family, he was still delighted with the arrival of Louetta. 

In a Fathers’ Day Post on June 19, 2023, Rumer shared an incredibly rare moment between her father and her daughter where Bruce was carrying Louetta. 

“Seeing my father hold my daughter today was something I will treasure for the rest of my life. His sweetness and love for her was so pure and beautiful. Papa, I’m so lucky to have you and so is Lou. Thank you for being the silliest, most loving, coolest Daddio a girl could ask for. Best Girl Dad in the game,” she said in the caption. 

Bruce was seen in a photo cradling Louetta while they stood by the backyard. In another photo that Rumer shared, she, Louetta, and Bruce posed for a picture while she sits her head on her dad’s chest while her little one looks up to his grandpa. 

Bruce wasn’t the only excited grandparent in the family. Moore celebrated her first Mother’s Day as a Grandmother in 2023. 

Moore captioned her Mothers’ Day post with: “Circle of Life. Happy Mother’s Day!” The actress got everyone nostalgic and delighted in her photo carousel that celebrates motherhood! 

She also penned a heart-fluttering message on Instagram to her eldest daughter’s 35th birthday on Aug. 16, 2023. 

“My life changed the day you were born. You brought a depth, meaning, and purpose to my existence along with an understanding of love that I had never known. Now here you are my baby, with your own baby, bringing even greater meaning, magic, and love into all of our lives,” Moore said. 

She posted photos of them during Rumer’s younger birthdays, a studio photo of them together, a photo while Rumer was giving birth at home, and their first photo together while cradling little Louetta, who looks like a third-generation Willis because of her black hair. 

In response, Rumer had this to say to her mother: “Oh mama ❤️😍 I love you so. Knowing what it takes to help bring a soul into this world gives it a whole new meaning for me. I always thought this was my day but I know now it has always been ours. Happy birthday mama”

Fans can’t help but swoon over how adorable Louetta and Moore’s photos are.
