David Beckham And Son Brooklyn's Family Resemblance Is Uncanny

David and Victoria Beckham are both very successful in their own right, but in the last few years, their brood of children is slowly entering the spotlight.

The eldest of their children, Brooklyn Beckham, has been showing off his photography skills for a few years and making a name for himself. And like many fathers and sons, David and Brooklyn share a likeness, with Brooklyn looking like the spitting image of his father.

What's unique about Brooklyn is that he was famous before he was even born. When soccer star David Beckham and Spice Girl Victoria Adams began dating, the press saw them as a match made in heaven. After getting pregnant with Brooklyn, the world knew they were expecting the offspring of two celebrities. 

Born on March 4, 1999, Brooklyn made his first public appearance at the tender age of five weeks, when his parents posed for a photoshoot with him for OK Magazine. A few months later David and Victoria were married and Brooklyn also appeared in their wedding photos, in which they were famously married at Luttrellstown Castle near Dublin, Ireland.

The family would move around a lot in the first decade of Brooklyn's life, going from Manchester, to the south of England, to Madrid, Spain, to Los Angeles, California, before eventually settling back in the UK in London in 2013. The constant moving around was due to David's career as a professional soccer player, and as he changed clubs, his family moved with him.

It was around the time that the Beckhams moved back to London in 2013 that Brooklyn—now a teenager—began to show an interest in photography. It was in fact David who bought him his first camera. Brooklyn told Miss Vogue:

"I started taking it everywhere with me. I realised how much I was enjoying the whole process—from taking the images to editing them and developing them and it soon became a complete passion."

With the rise of social media, Brooklyn was able to showcase his photography skills on Instagram and has a large following of over 12 million followers. He's even shot fashion campaigns for Burberry and has assisted famous photographers including Nick Knight. 

And although now he's a young man of 21, Brooklyn's relationship with his dad David is as close as ever. Not only do they look alike, but their family bond is strong and they're very open about it. On Brooklyn's birthday in 2018, David posted an adorable photo of the two of them making funny faces and captioned it:

"Happy Birthday big boy... So proud of the man you have grown into... Be passionate, be proud, be humble & be you... Love u bust ❤️"

David also revealed a few years ago that Brooklyn had promised to get his first tattoo with him. David, who is famously very tattooed, told the story on James Corden's Late Late Show, as reported by The Sun. He explains how Brooklyn was with his girlfriend in Paris around his 18th birthday and was thinking of getting a tattoo before David called him to say:

"I said ‘you are welcome to have it but remember you promised me and I am your dad and I would feel really upset if you went through with it.'"

So he didn't and held true to his promise. He now even has David's birth year—1975—tattooed on his hand. The bond between father and son clearly extends far beyond their looks.
