Dad Brings Lunch For Adult Son At Work To Fulfill Promise That He Will ‘Always Be There’

Dave Monroe, a dedicated family man known for his TikTok content with over 370,000 followers, surprised his son, Jordan Monroe, with lunch during his work shift, showcasing the enduring bond between father and son.

In the video, which the father proudly shared on TikTok on April 2023, Dave is seen arriving at his son's workplace. Jordan, who appeared to be in his late 20s, is a staff at a local Valvoline. 

While filming their encounter, the father then proceeded to greet his son with a warm smile and asked him how work was. Dave slowly drove to get closer to Jordan, who was coming out of his workplace's backdoor. 

He then presented his son with a meal from Burger King, and Jordan's face quickly lit up with a smile. The father and son had a brief but heartwarming exchange, where Dave told his son he came by and brought him lunch because he simply wanted to say he loves him. He also encouraged his son to keep working hard. Jordan responded by thanking his father, and then he wished him a great day.

According to The Dialog, parenting is a lifetime commitment, and kids will still need their mother or father's guidance and love even if the dynamics of their relationship have changed.
