Swing has become a dance classic. If that makes you think it's for old fuddy-duddies, think again. Check out the smooth style of two young dancers from Sweden, Bianca Locatelli and Nils Andrén, who performed at Rock That Swing Festival back in 2018 at the Deutsches Theater in Munich.

Be sure to reach the end of this article to see the full video :-)

These two energetic dance devotees get to travel the world to spread their love of dancing via teaching it, participating in competitions, and performing routines. They've won numerous awards and their audiences are crazy about them.

Bianca started dancing when she was just seven or eight years old, as she explains in this interview. She has tried a wide variety of dance forms, including street dancing and ballet. But she eventually decided that swing was her true love.

Nils came to dance later in life at nine after trying more traditional male sports, including ice hockey and soccer, as he explains in this interview. He was finally pointed in the right direction by a dance teacher who came to his school. He entered a competition, learned the boogie-woogie for it, and won. He's been a dancer ever since.

They got together in 2013 after she moved to Sweden. Their dance fame really took off after they danced to Hey! Baby at the Rock That Swing Festival in Munich and a video of their performance hit YouTube. This is the same song that wowed audiences in Dirty Dancing with Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze.

Just like in that movie, part of their appeal is that just love to dance and it shows. Another part of the appeal is that their routines are family-friendly viewing. But they're also so good, they make it look easy. Their performance in that video was game-changing for them. It helped them become international stars.

But just like you can't really get the sound from a story in a magazine, dance is something you must see to appreciate. You really need to see them in action to understand the appeal.

So check them out below:

What did you think of their performance? Did it put you in the dancing mood? Pass this video on to your friends and family to get them tapping their feet!
