HotFoot Hits the Dance Floor

As the music began, individual dancers and one dancing couple file onto the dance floor. They come from all corners of the hall. Excitement grows with each new addition until ten talented young dancers strut their stuff for an eager crowd.

HotFoot is just the name for this group. Their routine featured lots of kicks, slides, and other fancy footwork. They were also in perfect time with one another.

The Feet are Only the Beginning

This group was hot from head to toe. While their feet were putting on a show, so were there arms, hands, and faces. They even wore matching silver belt buckles, which they flashed almost as much as their ready smiles.

While it's easy to assume that country line dancing is repetitive or has a limited range, it is far from boring. HotFoot's routine included paired couples as well as dancers in the traditional line formation. This really throws in an unexpected twist that makes the audience watch even more intently.

Good Dancing for a Good Cause

In addition to this competition, this NSW line dance organization hosts an annual ball. All the major dance groups, including HotFoot, spend the evening showing their stuff for the Ronald McDonald charities of Sydney.

Now, it's your turn to join the dance. While you might not have fast feet like these talented performers, you can move your fingers across the keyboard or touchscreen. Taking just a few moments to capture your excitement over dance or this particular group can spread enthusiasm and interest in this important art form.
