Clint Eastwood's Daughter Alison Is One Of The Prettiest Women Alive Today

Clint Eastwood is legendary in the Hollywood scene for his acting and directing.  From his classic western films to newer action movies, Clint Eastwood brings poise and professionalism to any role he plays. Clint Eastwood was born on May 31, 1930, in San Francisco, California. When he was younger he had a number of different jobs, some of which may seem quite unlikely. After being spotted by an assistant at Fort Ord during the filming of TV series 'Rawhide,' he was invited to meet the director. It was recommended that Eastwood take acting lessons, and he enrolled in a theatre company. Eastwood became a struggling actor, gettings parts in films, but not enough financial security to make a living from them. Eventually, Eastwood made a name for himself through bigger roles in action-packed and drama-filled movies. 

Now a senior actor, Clint Eastwood is getting older, but not necessarily slowing down. While he's still doing films, it's reassuring to know that Eastwood has a large family to carry on his legacy in Hollywood. Having dated and married several different women over the years, Eastwood's family is not a traditional one, but nonetheless, they are very supportive of one another. Many of them have also decided to pursue showbiz, and Clint Eastwood's daughter Alison Eastwood is no exception. With mother Maggie Johnson also having a reputation in the film industry, it makes sense that Alison has also pursued acting, modeling, and other related endeavors. Although Alison isn't as big of an actor as her father, she clearly possess a talent that comes with the family name. 

While Clint Eastwood is a Hollywood mainstay, his roots are rather humble. He's a self-made movie star and his biography proves it. Born on May 31, 1930, in San Francisco, California, Clint Eastwood's family grew up in a wealthy area of town in a house that had a swimming pool, while each parent had their own car and the family belonged to a country club. His father was a manufacturing executive at Georgia-Pacific, while his mother worked in a clerical role at IBM. Despite this privileged upbringing, Eastwood got into trouble as a youth and it's uncertain whether he actually graduated from high school.

As a young man, he worked in a range of odd jobs including as a lifeguard, grocery clerk, forest firefighter, golf caddy, and paper carrier. While he attempted to enroll at Seattle University in 1951, he was instead drafted into the United States Army during the middle of the Korean War. He never served overseas, however, with his former partner Sondra Locke once stating:

"He always dropped the Korean War reference, hoping everyone would conclude that he was in combat and might be some sort of hero. Actually, he'd been a lifeguard at Fort Ord in northern California for his entire stint in the military."

Incidentally, it was his time stationed at Fort Ord that led to his career in Hollywood. Although the exact story of how he caught the attention of notable people in the film industry is disputed, Eastwood eventually made it to the audition process, and while prominent producer Arthur Lubin was impressed with his looks, he disapproved of Eastwood's acting. Nonetheless, Eastwood signed an acting contract in 1954 that included attending drama classes.

After many auditions, Eastwood didn't have much luck, until he got a bit-part in his first movie, 'Revenge of the Creature' (1955). A number of other small roles followed, but his contract eventually ran out and wasn't renewed. However, that didn't stop the budding actor, who continually put in the work with minor roles, until he landed a breakthrough part in 1958 as Rowdy Yates in the western series 'Rawhide.' The series aired for five years before being canceled, but his work on 'Rawhide' led to the movie that would put him on the map.

When his co-star Eric Fleming rejected an offer to star in a foreign-made western movie, Eastwood was suggested instead. Well, the movie was none other than 'A Fistful of Dollars' (1964), made by a relatively unknown director at the time, Sergio Leone. The film greatly influenced the Spaghetti Western genre and led to Eastwood working with Leone on two other films in the trilogy—'For A Few Dollars More' (1965) and 'The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly' (1966). 

The rest as they say is history. Eastwood's work in the Spaghetti Western genre propelled him to international stardom and led to his later work in the 'Dirty Harry' films of the '70s and '80s. Having conquered acting, he moved to directing by the 1990s and has had great critical and commercial success with movies such as 'Million Dollar Baby' (2004), 'Mystic River' (2003), and 'Letters From Iwo Jima' (2006). He's been honored with many accolades during his lengthy career including Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and the Venice Film Festival's Golden Lion award for lifetime achievement, among numerous other film awards. He's even been honored with two of France's highest civil orders—the Commander of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Legion of Honour medal.

Alongside his life full of career highs and lows, Eastwood has had a personal life that's been just as full. Eastwood's eight children—who were born between 1964 and 1996—are from a string of different relationships. His eldest daughter is Laurie Murray, who was born in 1954, however, Eastwood wasn't even aware that he'd fathered her until they reconnected later in life. Next came Kimber Eastwood, who was also conceived from an affair the actor had with stuntwoman Roxanne Tunis. Then came Kyle and Alison Eastwood from his marriage to Maggie Johnson. Following his marriage to Maggie Johnson, Clint Eastwood had a relationship with flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves. This resulted in two children, the first of which is Scott Eastwood, an actor and perhaps his father's most famous child, and a daughter named Kathryn Eastwood. Later on, a relationship with the actress Frances Fisher resulted in another daughter named Francesca Eastwood. Finally, his third marriage to Dina Ruiz led to an eighth child and another daughter named Morgan Eastwood.

Clint Eastwood's whole family attend events supporting their father and grandfather, for example, one Eastwood Ranch Foundation party in 2017. In the photos from the event, one can see all of the members of the Eastwood family. Although many of Clint Eastwood's brood of children are only half-siblings, they certainly appear very close, often posting photos with each other and supporting one another on social media. That's a testament to their parenting styles that have taught them the importance of family.

Clint Eastwood recently starred in his latest film 'The Mule' (2018). The film, which was also directed and produced by the 90-year-old, is based on the real-life exploits of Leo Sharp. Sharp gained great notoriety in 2014 when the article "The Sinaloa Cartel's 90-Year-Old Drug Mule" graced the pages of 'The New York Times.' Sharp, a World War II veteran, was arrested in 2011 for helping organized crime smuggle drugs into the United States.

“Maybe I just don’t want a certain volume of work, but, no, it hasn’t lessened. I love what I do,” he told USA Today.

“I’ll probably keep on going. I feel good, but it depends on material. I probably wouldn’t do something just because it was marginal—I have to kind of think it has some validity and has some relationship to today,” the actor added.

Lo and behold, Clint's daughter Alison Eastwood was in the film with him, playing the role of "Iris." Alison was born on May 22, 1972, and has had a prolific career as an actress, model, fashion designer, director, and producer. Allegedly, Alison was done with acting, but she returned to do 'The Mule' with her father.

In an interview with 'Variety' from 2018, Alison recalled the moment she heard that her father wanted her to be in the film. She said she was on her way to dinner with her husband when she received a call from Sam Moore, her father's producer:

“He [says], ‘You know, your dad wants you to do this film,” Alison recalled producer Sam Moore saying to her on the phone.

Clint's daughter Alison went on to express how she wasn't necessarily thrilled about the idea of returning to the big screen:

“I almost threw up. [My husband] was like, ’Is everything OK? Did somebody die?’ I’m like, ‘No, I just don’t feel very well.’ I retired from acting and I sort of threw in the towel and decided to focus on a lot of different things so I thought, why does he want me?”

Despite her reservations, Alison saw the call as an opportunity. 

“The more I thought about, I was like, ‘Well, maybe this is an opportunity to not only play his daughter, but also just to spend some free time with him. And my husband said, ‘If you don’t do this, you’re going to regret it for the rest of your life.’”

Alison even commented on how her father isn't slowing down despite his age, referring to her father as "a machine." She went on and said:

 “I think he has a robot chip in the back of his head. He’s not human. “I don’t get worried. I don’t know how he does it. I’m not sure. I can only aspire that I could have half the stamina he has. I directed two films and the last one almost killed me. He just seems to make it look so easy, which is very inspiring but it’s also like, ‘Why can’t it be as easy for me?’”

Hopefully, we will see more work from Alison, whether it's with her father or not. Either way, Alison Eastwood has surely lived up to her reputation as a member of Clint Eastwood's prolific family.
