Clint Eastwood is one of the most recognized and celebrated actors and directors of the past century. He is known as one of America's cowboys, having featured in iconic films that solidified the impact of the Spaghetti Western genre in America and across the world. He started on his road to fame in the 1950s, and from that moment, the rest, as they say, is history.
His career, which has spanned over 65 years, has seen him achieve success in a number of roles, including as an actor, film director, producer and even a musical composer. Some of his most memorable movies include the Dollars trilogy, "Dirty Harry," "Million Dollar Baby," "Mystic River," "Gran Torino" and more. Having been at the top of his game for decades, Eastwood has a long legacy behind him, which only seems to increase the older he gets as he simply keeps on working.
Now aged 92, the Hollywood veteran is taking his time to focus on jobs he really enjoys. He also has a whopping eight children, all of whom have grown up. In fact, a few of his kids have even followed him into show business, with perhaps the most famous being his lookalike actor son Scott Eastwood.
Back in 2021, a source close to Clint spoke to Closer Weekly and revealed what he's been up to, including the fact that despite being a nonagenarian, he's in perhaps the best shape of his life. A grandpa these days, Eastwood appears to be a lot softer than his famous tough guy persona.
Born in California in 1930, Eastwood's youth was easy. His family lived in a wealthy area of town in a house that had a swimming pool, each parent had their own car, and they belonged to a country club. His father was a manufacturing executive at Georgia-Pacific, while his mother worked in a clerical role at IBM.
As a young man, he worked a series of jobs, including as a lifeguard, grocery clerk, forest firefighter, golf caddy, and paper carrier. While he attempted to enroll at Seattle University in 1951, he was instead drafted into the Korean War.
Though Eastwood often mentions his military service, he never actually served overseas. His former partner Sondra Locke once stated: "He always dropped the Korean War reference, hoping everyone would conclude that he was in combat and might be some sort of hero. Actually, he'd been a lifeguard at Fort Ord in northern California for his entire stint in the military."
After lifeguarding, Eastwood made his way to Hollywood. Though he managed to impress executives with his stance and demeanor, he, unfortunately, failed to dazzle them with any actual acting skills. Still, he walked away with a contract with Universal Pictures, given the stipulation that he enrolled in acting classes.
Eastwood struggled to make it big for a while, picking up a few small roles here and there, but finally, he landed a breakthrough role in the 1958 Western series "Rawhide." This led to his now signature role as the tough guy with a heart of gold in a long list of Westerns.

Off-screen, Eastwood married twice and has eight children. The first wife was Maggie Johnson, who Eastwood met in 1953. Notoriously, Eastwood had affairs through their marriage, including one with Roxanne Tunis, who had his daughter, Kimber, in 1964. Eastwood also had a relationship with an unknown woman while he was engaged to Johnson, as reported by the Daily Mail. Unknown to him, she had his daughter, Laurie, in 1954. Laurie was adopted, and only decades later did Eastwood find out about her.
With Johnson, Eastwood had his son, Kyle, in 1968 and his daughter, Alison, in 1972. Johnson filed for divorce in 1984 after Eastwood's affair with Sondra Locke. Eastwood then had his son, Scott, in 1986 and his daughter, Kathryn, in 1988 with Jacelyn Reeves. After that, he had his daughter, Francesca, in 1993 with Frances Fisher. The actor then married Dina Ruiz in 1996. They had one daughter, Morgan, before divorcing in 2014.
In 2014, Eastwood met 57-year-old Christina Sandera. Despite a 33-year age gap, the lovely couple has been together ever since. Some think Sandera closely resembles Eastwood’s ex-girlfriend, Sondra Locke. Either way, a source told Closer Weekly, “He’s truly happy with her. She’s fun, easygoing, and his kids like her too. She’s on an even keel like he is.”
At 92, Grandpa Eastwood manages somehow to keep “in touch with all eight of his children and their families,” an insider exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly. “He’s taken great comfort that at this time of his life, all his kids are close.”

Eastwood has five grandchildren, some of whom are following in his footsteps in the entertainment industry. They include: Lowell, Clinton, Graylen, Kelsey and Titan.
According to Screen Rant, Lowell was a contestant on season 18 of “The Bachelorette.” However, he hasn’t done much else in the entertainment world.
Eastwood’s granddaughter, Graylen, has taken a liking to the industry, though, finding her footing as an actress, producer and model. She has a few film credits on IMDB — she wrote for two productions and appeared in one short. Her Instagram, however, is more insightful. In her bio, she wrote, "Musician 🥁. Model~Citizen. Film. Production. Limitless Creation"
In addition to her acting, Graylen also does modeling. In her photos, fans can really see the similarities between her looks and those of her grandfather. She wrote for “Masque d’Or” (2014) and “Parzival” (2015).
Not too much is known about Eastwood’s grandkids, and even the ones that have shown interest in show business still live relatively private lives.
What is known, though, is that Eastwood has found a liking to living in a more settled-down state. His daughter, Alison, told Closer Weekly:

I just think that he enjoys it now and I’m glad he’s settled down a bit. He’s worked a lot. Throughout my childhood, he was working all of the time and I didn’t see him that much so now he’ll do a movie a year and he spends a lot of time with us. We all have dinner, we all have fun, it’s a lot of laughter, there’s a lot of kidding and joking.”
