Clint Eastwood is practically synonymous with the Western movie genre. Since first appearing on our screens in the '50s, the 90-year-old workhorse is showing no signs of slowing down.
The actor was openly a father to seven children, but for many years there was speculation of an eighth child. At the premiere of his 2018 movie The Mule Eastwood confirmed to the world that he did have an eighth child, acknowledging his daughter, Laurie Murray, who up until then had been a secret.
Prior to 2018, it was public knowledge that Eastwood had seven children with a number of different women. It is claimed that Laurie, born in 1954, is the result of an affair that Eastwood had whilst married to model Maggie Johnson. According to the Daily Mail, Laurie was given up for adoption before Eastwood hit his peak.
Eastwood married Johnson, who he had met on a blind date, in 1953. Around this time, Eastwood also had an affair with stuntwoman Roxanne Tunis, and daughter Kimber was born in 1964. Eastwood and Johnson went on to have two children: Kyle born in 1968, and Alison born in 1972. In later interviews, Clinton claimed he and Johnson had an open marriage. They later divorced in 1984 but have remained in contact and on good terms.
Eastwood had two children with flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves. Scott, born in 1986—one of the most famous of the brood—and Kathryn, born in 1988. Francesca Eastwood was born in 1993 after Eastwood had an affair with actress Frances Fisher. Eastwood's youngest child, Morgan, was born in 1996. Eastwood divorced Morgan's mother, Dina Ruiz, in 2014. All Eastwood's children have gone on to have successful careers in the film, music, and entertainment industries.

Clint Eastwood was born on May 31, 1930, in San Francisco, California. When he was younger he had a number of different jobs, some of which may seem quite unlikely. He was a lifeguard, paper carrier, grocery clerk, forest firefighter, and even golf caddy, to name but a few.
After being spotted by an assistant at Fort Ord during the filming of TV series Rawhide, he was invited to meet the director. It was recommended that Eastwood take acting lessons, and he enrolled in a theatre company. Eastwood became a struggling actor, gettings parts in films, but not enough financial security to make a living from them.
His real breakthrough came when he was cast in the role of "Joe," the Man with No Name, for the 1964 Spaghetti Western A Fistful of Dollars directed by the then-unknown director Sergio Leone. The film became a trilogy with Eastwood cast as the lead in all three movies, including For a Few Dollars More and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, which became a global commercial success.

According to the Daily Mail, Morgan posted a photo of the group of siblings on Instagram, which has since been deleted, with the caption: "SO RARE for all 8 Eastwood siblings to be in one room!!!" Her sister, Alison Eastwood, Clint's daughter with first wife Maggie Johnson, also posted an image of the reunion on Instagram. She accompanied it with the following note: "I'm not sure there has ever been a picture of all 8 kids together but here it is."

"Clint has a way of bringing his progeny—his big extended family—together and he's been doing this for a long time. One of the things that's interesting about him is that, after a certain point in time, they were no longer hidden from public view. He, in various ways, tried to be a father to them. He seems to be very comfortable with it, and I think to some extent that's admirable."

He has received multiple awards and nominations for his work in film, television, and music. Eastwood is one of only two people to have been twice nominated for Best Actor and Best Director for the same film, Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby — the other being Warren Beatty with Heaven Can Wait and Reds. He is also one of the few directors who is also an actor to win an Academy Award for directing. Eastwood's long and rich career continues to grow and we look forward to seeing what he will work on next!
