Cindy Crawford's Son Presley Looks Like Her Twin

Cindy Crawford is one of the original '90s supermodels and not only does her legacy live on today, but she's also still modeling! While her star will never wane, her children have clearly inherited their mother's striking good looks, especially her elder child, son Presley Gerber. Let's take a look at their similarities!

A strong family resemblance is nothing unusual, even among celebrities. But when your mom happens to be supermodel Cindy Crawford, one could say her offspring got very lucky! Crawford has two children with her husband Rande Gerber, a 21-year-old son named Presley Gerber, and a 19-year-old daughter named Kaia Gerber.

Both children take after their parents and have been blessed in the looks department—they are a very photogenic family indeed! One look at Presley Gerber and it's evident he is Cindy Crawford's son. He has the same deep-set brown eyes, bone structure, and he's even inherited his mom's famous mole. 

Unsurprisingly, with their model looks, both of her children have begun modeling careers of their own. Presley Gerber modeled in Dolce & Gabbana's spring 2017 campaign and even made his runway debut, walking for Moschino in their summer resort fashion show.

Of course, if you're blessed with good looks and have a star model as a parent, it might seem like a no-brainer to follow in your mom's footsteps, but Crawford has said she hasn't pushed her kids into the modeling world. As reported by People Magazine, she said:

“I think that we just want our kids to be happy, and do what they want to do, and support them. In terms of modeling it’s like, I wouldn’t talk them out of it, but I’m not pushing them in that way.”

That sounds like the most supportive way one can encourage their children through life and Presley and Kaia Gerber are certainly lucky for it.

But it's not only in modeling that Presley Gerber has taken after his parents—this summer he's been helping out at his dad's Malibu restaurant, Cafe Habana. A source told People Magazine:

"Presley seems to be doing well. He is very focused on helping his dad out to keep their restaurant going. He is working most days."

Mixing business with pleasure, his girlfriend, Sydney Brooke has also been working at the restaurant, with the source saying they often try to work the same shift. The young lovebirds began dating in March as People reports, and have even made their romance official on Instagram.

Presley Gerber posted a photo of the couple kissing back in April with the caption, "Bonnie and Clyde." Meanwhile, Sydney shared her own post on her Instagram page in May. The image was a wide shot of the two embracing on a deck in front of the beach, presumably Crawford and Rande Gerber's Malibu home, with the sweet caption:

"Life is better with you"

Despite his traditional good looks, Presley Gerber has taken a liking to tattoos and has quite the growing collection. He's even garnered backlash recently for tattooing his face. Choosing to have the word "misunderstood" inked on his right cheekbone, he had something to say to those who didn't understand his intentions. Posted as an Instagram Story, he highlighted the hypocrisy of people accepting plastic surgery but not his tattoos, writing:

"Most and a lot of people can get a [sic] face lifts, change genders, lip injections, etc and it’s offensive to say anything in today’s age but I get a little face tattoo and now people love to hate me.. Hmmmm?" 

He doubled down on this in an Instagram Live video later on, as People reports, where he discussed the public not knowing how he feels as they weren't in his head. He explained:

"If I thought this was going to ruin my face or I didn’t want this, I wouldn’t have done it. I think that’s a pretty obvious thing. It says misunderstood, because that’s how I felt my entire life."

No doubt there are pressures to being the child of one of the world's biggest supermodels and a very successful businessman, so we're sure Presley Gerber, despite his privileged upbringing, has also experienced his own unique challenges in his life so far. In any case, he seems to have a clear head on his shoulders and the support of his loving family.

Presley Gerber's younger sister is also no stranger to the limelight. At only 19-years-old, Kaia Gerber has already taken the fashion industry by storm, appearing in numerous fashion shows, magazines, advertisements, and more already in her short career. In fact, in 2018, she actually won Model of the Year at The Fashion Awards.

When your profession is modeling and your mom is Cindy Crawford, you have the best mentor you could ask for already in the family, so it's no surprise to learn that Crawford works closely with her daughter in guiding her and giving advice on her burgeoning career. In 2019, the two sat down for a talk with Vogue to discuss modeling in the age of social media and the changes that have taken place in the industry. Kaia Gerber spoke of her mother's influence on her career, saying:

"If anyone had a point of reference, I definitely did and one of the best ones. For me [modeling] wasn’t a foreign world to go into and I felt like I understood it. I knew what I was kind of getting into."

Crawford also explained the sage advice she lives by when modeling and that she passed on to her daughter—"Do your homework," meaning, know the previous work of the photographer or designer you're working with and come prepared. Considering Kaia Gerber's ever-growing career, we're sure she listened to her mom on that one!

On the topic of social media, Kaia Gerber explains how she wasn't able to learn from her mom, as they were both learning about it together. She acknowledges that while it's been refreshing for the world to see more behind-the-scenes images of models, proving that they don't just wake up looking gorgeous and Vogue-ready, it has taken a bit of the magic away from the industry. Asked how she feels about comparisons to her famous mom, she said:

"If I had to be compared to anyone in the whole world, it is the biggest compliment [to be compared to Crawford], especially when people tell me that I act like her. That, to me, is the biggest compliment to receive because she carries herself with the most poise, kindness, and grace."

It seems the mom and daughter duo are not only gorgeous faces but kind spirits too. As Kaia Gerber says, that's the ultimate comparison. She does take strongly after Crawford, bearing the same deep-set chocolate eyes, luscious lips, and statuesque figure. But while she might resemble her mother in her modeling heyday, Presley Gerber inherited something of hers that his sister did not—their mom's trademark mole! Crawford's iconic mole is located above her left lip while Presley Gerber's is above his right lip and a little bit off to the side. While they're not exactly the same, they are almost mirror images of each other and combined with their familial resemblance, it's very clear that he is Cindy Crawford's child.

The two gorgeous Gerber children also appear to be close, despite the fact that they're not often seen out together or on each other's social media accounts. Their Instagram feeds are full of their various pursuits—Kaia Gerber's is very much grounded in the world of fashion, while Presley Gerber's focuses on his Southern California lifestyle and interests. But the siblings do still find space on their grid to post about each other from time to time. For Presley Gerber's birthday last year, Kaia Gerber posted a gorgeous photo of the two of them when they were children and wished him a happy birthday in the caption as well as saying "I love you." Then a few months later Presley Gerber posted the same photo on his Instagram with a touching message to his sister. It said:

"Happy Birthday to my motivation. I love you day 1 lil sis. I’ll always be here for you.. don’t forget that. Love, Presley."

Most recently Presley Gerber appears to have launched a clothing collaboration titled "Cali Sober" with LA brand Local Authority. The logo is of a scorpion, while the apparel includes T-shirts and hoodies emblazoned with various prints. It's great to see him channel his creative energy into a project he's passionate about, considering the amount of public scrutiny he's had the last year or two.

Although he's been in the spotlight from a young age, it's easy to forget that Presley Gerber is merely 21 years old. If everyone who is criticizing him stopped to think about what they were doing at 21, it's likely there weren't doing much more than he is, or even designing an apparel collection either. We're happy to see Presley Gerber appears to be finding his way, and no doubt, he has his family's full support whichever path he does end up taking. We look forward to seeing what he'll do next!
