Musical ensemble Celtic Woman performed their rendition of Amazing Grace back in 2009.
The song Amazing Grace is so special that no matter how many times you may have heard it, it still strikes you every single time. The words and the incredible melody are so very moving. The song has been performed by a multitude of some of the most famous musical artists. However, it is always amazing to hear the song performed in a new fashion or with a new vision brought to a performance of the Amazing Grace.
A recent performance of the classic song left audiences stunned. It was one of the most angelic performances that they had ever seen. The four ladies of the Celtic Woman band performed the classic gospel song in an almost hauntingly beautiful performance.
Celtic Woman performed with a full choir and was supported by an orchestra as they performed the gospel song.

The performance started in a very unique way. The first thing the audience heard was the sound of professional bagpipes launching the song with a solo performance to introduce the melody. Then, one member of the group gracefully walked to the center of the stage where she began to sing in harmony with the bagpipes.
Her demeanor was so elegant and commanding that the entire audience was captivated by her God-given talent. She continued on through her spiritual solo while the other three members of the Celtic Woman band slowly joined her on stage, each joining in the harmony until all four women were singing the glorious song.
According to their website, Celtic Woman is made up of four women who form the Ireland-based quartet: Chloe Agnew, Lisa Kelly, Meav Ni Mhaolchatha, and Orla Fallon. Prior to forming the group, all three women sang, more or less, as solo artists. However, they were individually recruited by a globally-recognized band creator and music expert, David Kavanagh.
The women have received numerous prestigious accolades, including winning Billboard’s World Album Artist of the Year award on six separate occasions. The group has gone on several highly-popular global tours during their years together.
They have sold more than nine million records across the world. In fact, their most recent album settled at the top of the Billboard chart for a very respectable length of time. These women are known for the raw talent of their voices, not for flash like so many of today’s artists are.
