Celine Dion Rocks Natural Curly Hairstyle In Studio Clip

Celine Dion is not only known for being an incredible singer and performer, but her impeccable taste in fashion has helped her become a style icon in her own right. But while Celine is no stranger to taking risks in the fashion department, her beauty looks have been mostly consistent over the years—if you know what works for you, then it's worth sticking to!

But now, Celine is even experimenting there, with a hot new curly hairstyle that makes her seem even younger—if that's at all possible!

Posting to her own Twitter account on October 1, Celine tweeted a behind-the-scenes video of a studio session while recording her song The Chase, off her album from late 2019, titled Courage. The 45-second video shows Celine looking stylish as ever while clearly having a great time in the studio. She's dressed very stylishly as she dons a black off-the-shoulder sweater over a white T-shirt, denim cut-offs, black tights, and cream high-heeled booties. But what's most surprising is that her hair isn't worn in her usual long and straight style or a sleek ponytail. Instead, she's got a head full of bouncy curls! 

The head full of delicate soft spiral curls suits her surprisingly well, and even manages to make her somehow look younger?! But that could be down to her youthful outfit, which has a soft '80s vibe, or her vibrant energy, which even at 52 years of age, she's shown she has plenty.

Dancing around in the video, Celine's vibrancy is on show. She's making moves that are elegant yet playful, reminiscent of ballet or contemporary dance. At one point, she looks into the camera with a big smile on her face and then winks and gives a thumbs-up as if she already knew how big a hit her album, Courage, would be. 

Released in November 2019, Courage was Celine's first English-language album since 2013's Loved Me Back to Life. She collaborated with many other artists on the record, including Sia, David Guetta, Sam Smith, and more. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 charts and was her first number one album in 17 years. 

In an interview with the Today show to mark her album release, Dion explained that there was a deep connection between the album and her late husband, René Angélil. According to the singer, writing and recording Courage was also a cathartic experience for her, as it was the first time she would be recording an English language album without Angélil.

"Courage was representing the whole losing my husband, losing my manager, my kids losing their father and to find the strength to keep going because I wanted to," she said.

Angélil, who had been Dion's manager since she was 12 years old, tragically passed away in 2016 at the age of 73 following a battle with throat cancer. His death, the singer says, is something she will mourn forever.

"I think I will probably grieve for the rest of my life," Dion told the Sun in 2018, before adding some optimism to her heartbreaking confession. 

"Rene has prepared me for all my life since I'm 12. I have never met another man in my life, never kissed another man in my life. I miss him a lot. I miss him a lot — for my partner, for the man I was embracing, kissing, making love with. My worries, my dreams ..."

While moving on from her husband's death might not be an easy feat, Dion has found an outlet to connect with him: music. "When I say 'without René,' it's without René physically because René will always be part of me. Before I talk, he goes through my mind," Dion told Today..

Fans are obviously loving her new album, but they're also fans of her new hairdo! Posting to Twitter, one fan wrote:

"One of my faves from the album and you rocked those curls 😍"

Another wrote "Your hair 😍" while someone else pointed out that perhaps it's not the first time Celine has worn her hair curly. 

What many might not remember, however, is that Celine Dion used to wear her hair like that all the time, even in her natural brunette!
