Celine Dion Confidently Sports Leotard During Paris Heatwave

Celine Dion was serving up looks during Couture week in Paris back in July. However, one of her most memorable outfits were worn in the perfect fashion. When temperatures in the french city creeped into the hundreds, Dion’s style choice was a ‘cool’ one-- in every sense of the word.

During the heatwave that swept across Europe this summer, Dion stepped out onto the Parisian streets in a leotard and matching blazer by the fashion brand Off-White. The blazer and leotard was spray-painted with different colors and captured Dion’s glamorous side.  The singer paired the outfit with dark black sunglasses and gold hoops. Dion told Elle Magazine:

“For me, fashion is art. It’s a way of expressing yourself. When I put something on, I play. I don’t take myself seriously. I kind of, like, borrow a character. But to be considered a fashion icon? I don’t know, I just do one day at a time, do the best I can, feel the way that I want to feel. That’s the most important thing."

Dion also showed off her legs in an off-the-shoulder ivory gown that same Paris Couture week with huge draping sleeves that trained on the ground. Vogue commented that when Dion “lifted her billowy sleeves to the side, the frock's mini-skirted hemline—and her impossibly toned legs—were revealed to stunning effect.”

According to Marie Claire, as part of keeping herself healthy and fit Dion practices ballet four times a week. The entertainer said that ballet “is so hard,” stating that she didn’t want to do something that’s easy.

Dion announced in April on her website that she was the new spokeswoman for L'Oréal Paris. “I’m excited to use my voice to empower others to feel beautiful, confident, and to learn to embrace themselves,” she said. 

We can’t think of anyone better who is a perfect example of beauty and grace.
