Cat Mama Introduces Her One-Week-Old Kitten To Her Dog Friend

It’s pretty common for people to ask if you’re more of a cat person or a dog person since they seem to be two of the most common animals to have as pets. While dogs are typically more energetic, playful and happy, cats tend to be more independent and relaxed. Cats and dogs are not enemies by nature, but many people have pitted them against each other in these hypothetical situations because it seems like most people either have one or the other as a pet.

Cats and dogs both have the capability of socializing with others, although sometimes they may not always be the greatest at it. With a little love and support, a lot of space for them to feel comfortable and at ease, it can be possible for these sweet animals to open up their hearts to others and to let people in their own personal space.

A cat and a dog proved all the nay-sayers about how cats and dogs can’t be friends wrong when they surpassed everyone’s expectations. The two became the best of friends. The cat trusted her furry friend even though he did not look like her.

In fact, they had grown a bond so strong, that the cat even trusted the dog enough to introduce her own kitten to him. A video of the heartwarming moment has been capturing hearts all over the world as it has recently been going viral, and it’s not hard to see why. The furry friends were curious at first, but completely warmed up to each other and were all cuddled up together by the end of the short clip.

A study conducted by PLOS One explained how although cats and dogs have their differences, they also share a lot of similarities, especially when it comes to living together. Whenever cats and dogs share a living space, they tend to get along pretty well, and have been known to sleep and play together. While they sometimes interact differently than the other -- dogs usually lick cats more and cats usually ignore their companions -- they still are able to form strong bonds and trust one another.

An adorable video of a mother cat introducing her kitten to her dog best friend has recently been viral, and it’s not hard to see why. In the video, all of the animals were super sweet to one another and were incredibly cute to look at. The gorgeous orange mother cat sat down comfortably next to the dog, who was more than three times her size, as she introduced him to her 1-week-old kitten. The tiny kitten could barely raise her little head as she received soft and comforting pets from her mother. 

It was evident that the adult cat really trusted the dog as she sat next to him without hesitation and even went as far as to introduce her own tiny kitten to the polite pup. Curiously, the dog sniffed the small orange kitten a few times before immediately easing back and looking peaceful as he sat next to the mother cat. The unlikely set of friends got along swimmingly and they all cuddled up together on the couch in the room they were in.
