Canadian Grandmother-Of-Three Competes In Bodybuilding Leagues Across The Globe - Says Bodybuilding Gives Her Confidence

48-year-old Robin Hills from Ontario, Canada is one kickass granny. The correctional officer might have been a shy teenager back in her day, but with a 200lb frame and 17-inch biceps, she carries herself with confidence not many are capable of. 

According to the Daily Mail, the grandmother of three from Ontario began bodybuilding when she finished school because she didn't want to get out of shape, so she joined a local gym. She explains that bodybuilding gave her a new perspective on life.

"I was tall and skinny but very athletic. I was an average student but I grew up playing basketball, volleyball, running track, baseball," Hill told the publication. "After high school, I didn't want to get out of shape so joined a gym and fell into bodybuilding and was addicted right away."

"Before this I was quiet, shy and a bit awkward with normal insecurities kids have… Now I love how I look and feel. I am very confident and enjoy life and still love to laugh."

As Robin continued her dedication and hard work with bodybuilding, she began to realize that she had found a true passion in life. She maintained exceptional discipline in pursuit of her goals and got back into shape after each of her pregnancies.

Today, Hill trains 6 times per week to maintain her physique and makes sure to take good care of what she eats. The 48-year-old has been performing in the professional league all around the world after earning her IFBB (International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness) in 2014.

When she wants to indulge, Hill's guilty pleasures tend to be chocolate and sushi.
