Cameras Catch The Moment This Lost Dog First Recognized It's Owner After 7 Months Apart - And The Result Has Us All Sobbing

Dog owners around the world would agree that our furry friends are a part of the family. When they are hurt, we also feel hurt, and it is easy to feel responsible and blame ourselves when something goes wrong. A dog owner from Texas experienced exactly this when his German Shepherd named Dora went missing. 

During a 4th of July celebration, Dora’s owner suddenly realized that his dog had gone missing. Scared by the firework show, Dora leapt over the backyard fence and fled to escape the noise. After thoroughly searching the neighborhood, her owner began to lose hope. Despite being microchipped, Dora did not turn up, and weeks began passing by without her return.

7 months later, Dora’s owner received a surprise phone call from an animal shelter. Dora had been picked up as a stray, and thanks to her her microchip her owner was located. Cameras at the shelter captured the emotional reunion as the lost dog sees her best friend for the first time in 7 months! See the video below to watch the heartwarming moment!
