Dubliners were recently treated to a surprise musical performance. Two young buskers set up on Grafton Street in the Irish city to perform Ed Sheeran's Perfect when a random stranger decided to join in to sing the song in Italian. Luckily, someone caught the impromptu performance on video and uploaded it to YouTube this year.
Hitmaker Ed Sheeran

When 14-year-old singer Allie Sherlock launched into the Ed Sheeran track with guitarist Philly Campbell in Dublin, the crowd immediately took notice.
It seems like a cold day, but Allie was prepared. Tucking her hands into the pockets of her black puffer coat, she smiled as she began singing. She enchanted the audience with her charming personality and lovely voice. The guitar-playing half of the duo smiled as he watched the singer.

If Allie seems familiar, you may have seen the teen online or even on TV. Sherlock's YouTube channel boasts nearly three million followers, and she's been a guest on Ellen. It's impossible to know if her relative fame lured passersby, or if the appeal of "Perfect" accounts for the buskers' popularity.
"Perfect" in Italian

Regardless of the reason, a crowd gathered to listen, watch, dance, and share videos of the performance. Someone from the audience approached the mic, and Allie stepped aside to share the stage. Soon, one singer after another came up to take a turn. Many languages were represented, but the one that captured the most attention was a young man who sang in Italian. The dark-haired man in sunglasses turned in what was deemed to be a good rendition that showed signs of professional voice training. Allie Sherlock smiled during his performance.
Whatever the draw, this busking session kept the crowd on Grafton Street enraptured that day. Allie Sherlock and Philly Campbell started out as a duo but ended up part of something bigger. Their cover of Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" was clearly a crowd-pleaser on a brisk day in Dublin, especially once it became a group effort. Young singer Allie Sherlock is someone to watch for!
