Bullied Girl Is Barely Done With Her Audition When The Judges Slam The Buzzer And Make A Surprising Request

Anyone would be nervous when auditioning for “The Voice Australia,” and this was certainly the case for 18-year-old Mikayla Jade. Mikayla stepped up to the microphone, clutched it in her hand, and turned towards the panel of judges who were waiting to hear her blind audition. She took a deep, calming breath before she began the song she knew would blow the crowd away!

Mikayla sang an amazing cover of the song “Dancing On My Own.” You can clearly tell that all of the judges think she is a winner! Their faces say it even before they start slamming their buzzers and spinning around to face her. You can clearly hear the emotions pouring through her voice into the song, and there are tears rolling down her face when she finishes up.

She tells the judges a bit about her background and you can see it breaks their hearts. It is difficult for her to even speak while she tells them about the pain caused by years of bullying. The memories come flooding back as she tells her story and you can see the raw pain in her eyes. Delta Goodrem, one of the judges, gives her some words of wisdom and then asks her to do something for them. You won’t believe what they want her to do!

Check out this haunting song Mikayla covers before hearing what the judges ask her to do!
