Bride Stuns In Custom Transparent Wedding Dress She Didn’t See Until Day Before Her Wedding

Wedding ceremonies are the best as everyone does their best to look good as much as possible, especially the bride and groom. Most women opt to wear the traditional white dress with a veil, but an online content creator named Toni Norton opted to elevate her look by wearing a risqué gown, which she was fitted for at the last minute.
Before we dive into the details of her stunning dress, let’s take a look at how she met her now-husband, Miles Norton.
Speaking with Insider, the couple first met during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.
Miles, the man behind the sock company Miles52eighty, was the one who made the first move after he slid into her DMs which eventually led to a phone call that lasted over three hours. After a month of talking to each other online, the pair decided to meet in person for the first time.
Upon seeing each other, Toni revealed in her interview that it was an instant connection as both of them played like kids.
Ever since that meeting, the two continued dating until Miles proposed and popped the question in December 2021.
Since they were an engaged couple at the time, they started planning their extravagant wedding and got help from different coordinators like De’Veilope Planning’s Demetris Faison and Vanity Jones.
It appears that Toni, who is a social media influencer, never saw herself getting married at first because meeting her other half was not expected. This was the reason why she never had any vision in her mind of what her wedding dress would look like.

Since they already planned the wedding date, Toni Norton started looking for inspirations for her gown on the internet until she stumbled upon “Peacemaker” actress Danielle Brooks’ wedding dress.
The star’s gown was by UK-based fashion house Alonuko Bridal. Gbemi Okunlola was the mind behind the company, which had a strong brand of making illusion gowns for their clients. She engineered a one-of-a-kind sheer tulle to make it look like the material of the dress was painted onto the bride’s skin.
One of the main reasons why she fell in love with the way Alonuko designs gowns was because of its naked illusion, as she wanted to look as if she was not wearing anything beneath the ensemble.
Toni and the designer got in touch through a phone call, and little did the bride know that during their conversation, Okunlola was already sketching the dress.
"I didn't know she was drawing while we were talking," she said.
During the process of designing the dress, Okunlola took inspiration from the couple’s first date and did her best to incorporate it with the pattern.
Toni looked her best on her wedding day, but not everyone knew that she only saw the dress the night before her wedding as Alonuko Bridal is based in the United Kingdom, and she was only able to fit her dress once.
The moment it arrived just in time for the special occasion, Toni was shocked and “cried like a baby” because there were a lot of emotions that filled her that day.
Toni and Miles Norton finally got married on May 13, 2023, and the ceremony looked magical based on the 41-minute video they shared on their official YouTube channel.
In addition, the influencer also shared a clip of them kissing each other on her Instagram account.
