Blind Pup Abandoned On Park Bench Gets Rescued

One person's trash is another person's treasure. Just ask this sweet, blind pup, Poly. Poly was found all alone on a park bench in Los Angeles in 2015. This beautiful blue-eyed, three-year-old girl didn't get a good start. She was left alone on a park bench scared to death to move. Her old humans used her to have puppies then left her after she gave birth. Don't worry, this story has a happy ending.

Poly is blind, too. A rescue group called Foreverhome Pet Rescue, Inc. in Los Angeles found this girl and gave her all the love and food she needed. Poly also has a heart condition and a skin condition. The rescue group quickly started a donation group to raise funds for all of her medication. Another fun fact about Poly—she loves fast food. She couldn't get enough hamburgers and other goodies.

Poly wouldn't have lasted long on that park bench with all of her health issues. She's blind and was confused without love surrounding her. The rescuers gave her all of the love and support she needed to change her shy demeanor into a playful pup.
Thank goodness for kind people in this world to show this pup, such love. Poly was given a chance and a second life. She got her own website and a Facebook page so people could watch her journey, and they could use her story to save the life of other animals. Poly's life may have started as a tough one full of obstacles, but rescue groups out there like Foreverhome Pet Rescue prove that a little love goes a long way. They gave another chance to a sweet puppy that was just dumped on a park bench.
