About a month after Bindi Irwin and husband Chandler Powell announced their pregnancy, the expectant mother posted a picture on her Instagram that shows the young couple holding a koala and a baby kangaroo in their arms along with sonogram photos of their first baby. The 22-year-old daughter of late The Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin explained that their little one is now about the size of a hummingbird, as she captioned the picture:

"The animal joeys we care for are excited to meet our human joey. ❤️  Baby Wildlife Warrior is about the size of a hummingbird now! We can't wait to teach our little one about the importance of protecting our planet and the beauty of the wildlife and wild places we love so much. Thank you for your kindness and support on this magical journey."

Soon-to-be father Chandler Powell shared a similar picture on his Twitter and revealed how much being a father already means to him, as he wrote:

"Our little human joey with some of our Australia Zoo joeys. Can't wait for our baby to meet everyone in person. ❤️  Being a dad is already the highlight of my life."

About five months after their wedding on March 25, Irwin and Powell had announced their pregnancy earlier this August. The couple had shared a picture of them holding up a baby-sized zoo uniform and revealed that they're expecting their first child. Back then, Irwin had explained that they want their fans to be part of their pregnancy, saying:

"Though I'm still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter," the 22-year-old wrote. "We couldn't wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives. Your support means the world to us."

We're more than happy for the expectant parents and are excited to be part of this beautiful chapter of their life. Be sure to pass this article along to spread the love and excitement!
