Ben Affleck And His Son Became Excited Courtside Announcers At Star-Studded Basketball Game

Ben Affleck is one of Hollywood's biggest names. Affleck is a writer, an actor, and a filmmaker and has acted in produced numerous box office hits. Affleck began acting as a child. He starred in the PSB educational series "The Voyage of the Mimi" in 1984 and "The Second Voyage of the Mimi" in 1988. In the series, Affleck played "Clement Tyler," the educational series used to teach children about science. Affleck continued acting throughout high school and his college career.
He rose to fame in 1997 following the success of "Good Will Hunting," a film he co-wrote with his childhood friend, Matt Damon. According to IMDB, the critically acclaimed film was nominated for nine academy awards and won two. Damon and Affleck both received the Academy Awards for "Best Original Screenplay" and a Golden Globe for "Best Screenplay." The film's success catapulted the rising stars into the spotlight.
Since his breakout role, Affleck has starred in several blockbuster hits, such as "Dazed and Confused," "Pearl Harbor," and "Armageddon." Due to his wide range of abilities in front of and behind the camera, Rotten Tomatoes referred to the high-profile actor as one of Hollywood's most underrated stars.
In 2005, Affleck wed movie star Jennifer Garner. That same year, they welcomed their first child, Violet. They welcomed their second child, Seraphina, in 2009 and their youngest, Samuel, in 2012. The A-list couple separated in 2015 after ten years of marriage. Although they are no longer together, the prominent Hollywood stars continued co-parenting their three children.
On Feb. 17, 2023, Affleck took out his son Samuel not just to an ordinary Basketball Game. He asked his son to join him in introducing the players for the 2023 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.

After Affleck’s and Garner’s divorce in 2018, he reunited with his ex-girlfriend, singer Jennifer Lopez. Since then, the two have been spotted hanging out, and they eventually tied the knot in Las Vegas last June 2022. Affleck then became a stepfather to Lopez’s twins and a father to his own three children with Garner.
Despite their divorce, Affleck has maintained his respect for his former wife. During his appearance on "The Howard Stern Show," Affleck explained how his mutual respect for Garner laid the foundation of their new relationship following their divorce.
"Did we have moments of tension? Did we have disagreements over the custody? Was stuff difficult for us? Did we get angry? Yes," he said. "But fundamentally, it was always underpinned with respect. I knew she was a good mom. I hope that she knew that I was a good dad. I was."
For The "Good Will Hunting" screenwriter, the most crucial thing in his life is his children. In an interview with People Magazine, Affleck stated that his children were the focal point of his life.
"My life right now is focused on, for sure, being a dad, and that's the most important thing to me," Affleck said.
For Affleck, fatherhood always comes first. According to Entertainment Online, the Golden Globe winner even skipped the 2022 SAG Awards to celebrate his son Samuel's 10th birthday.
On many occasions, the “Justice League” actor has expressed his love for his children, specifically to his only son, as he spends his free time with him.

Like most fathers, Affleck is an avid sports guy. During an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Affleck revealed he's living the ultimate "dad dream" of being the little league coach for his son's team.
"It's one of those things, you love it so much, it's like the dad dream," he told Ellen DeGeneres. "Coaching your son or your daughter on their Little League team, it's very exciting, and people have been very cool."
In fact, Affleck has been into basketball for a few moments in his life. When he studied Spanish at the University of Vermont, he played basketball and even injured his hip while playing it. He also made an uncredited appearance as a basketball player in the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” film.
His love for basketball never died out. In fact, he even took his youngest child, Samuel, to the biggest star-studded celebrity ball game in February 2023.
Affleck and Samuel tag-teamed in doing the introductions for the 2023 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, using their best sports announcer voice to introduce the likes of YouTuber Jesser, Grammy-winning rapper 21 Savage, and their Team Captain Dwayne Wade.
Samuel seemed to be having the time of his life doing the introductions for the star-studded sporting event – something that a kid would be proud of doing, given his young age! He seemed animated and having fun supporting his dad throughout the introductions – joining him in the chorus in announcing the bigger players of the game.
It can be seen on Samuel’s face that this game would be something he would remember dearly because of how fun it was, and he got to spend it with his father!
