A recording of Queen performing their song These Are the Days of Our Lives has started resurfacing online since its posting in 2018. This footage shows allegedly the last time Freddie Mercury appeared on camera. With the single having been released just two months before the singer's death, Queen fans everywhere have been astounded by what they have seen.

Freddie Mercury would go on to pass away due to health complications from his AIDS diagnosis, according to Smooth Radio, just months after the video surfaced. What information has emerged alongside the video for These Are the Days of Our Lives is the state of the beloved singer at the time.

It was decided that the music video for the song would be released in black and white. At the time, this was entirely practical and not simply a stylistic choice. Mercury was suffering from the complications of his illness and appeared so gaunt and ill in the footage that it was released in black and white in hopes of disguising this fact.
