Barbara Eden’s Endearing Tour Of Home She Shares With Spouse Reveals Major Memories From Her Career

Barbara Eden’s years as a classic movie star stay etched in time. The actress' rise to fame spanned from her role in the iconic sitcom, "I Dream of Jeannie." Eden is also notably known to have starred in other career-defining films like "Flaming Star," "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" and many more.
The film icon, who has been married to her husband, Jon Eicholtz, for over three decades, celebrated her 92nd birthday in her own unique way in 2023. Leading up to the celebration, Eden told People on Aug. 23, 2023, that her birthday would be celebrated in her charming home in Beverly Hills. Eden's beloved home holds major incredible memories of the actress and now also holds a memory of her 92 birthday celebration.
Eden's journey as one of Hollywood's greatest stars started with her first TV role in 1955 on "The Johnny Carson Show." Eden's film career gained more visibility as she starred in "Flaming Star'' with Elvis Presley and other films. In 1965, Eden got her notable role in the sitcom, "I Dream of Jeannie." When the show was running, Eden received two Golden Globes nominations, one for Best TV Actress – Comedy or Musical and another for Best TV Star — Female.
After starring in "A Howling in the Woods" in 1971, the actress continued to showcase her acting skills in other films like "Harper Valley PTA." Eden was also honored for her amazing TV works with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Nov. 17, 1988.
The classic A-lister also went on various tours. She joined the national tour of "Woman of the Year." Eden also went on another national tour of "Last of the Red Hot Lovers'' in 1993 with Don Knotts.

Eden appeared in the national touring production of "The Odd Couple: The Female Version'' which was a play.
The actress first got married to actor Michael Ansara in 1958, but the pair separated in 1974. They had a son, Matthew Ansara, who unfortunately passed away on June 25, 2001.
In 1977, Eden married Charles Fegert but divorced him after five years in 1982. The actress then got married to Eicholtz in 1991. The couple have been together since then and also celebrated her birthday together.
Eden exclusively shared her birthday plans, noting how she would dine at a Beverly Hills steakhouse with her husband, Eicholtz, and close friends. The actress also had friends over to her gorgeous home of memories. Instead of the traditional birthday cake, Eden replaced that with a Lemon meringue pie.
Besides the continuous celebration of milestones in the palatial Los Angeles home, Eden’s abode houses some of her most cherished memorabilia. She once took fans on a tour of her enchanting home in Beverly Hills in 2021, courtesy of People.
The home tour video showed the actress's office, which contained some treasured genie bottles. Eden flaunted her broad collection of beautiful genie bottles and shared a backstory of the dearest one to her.
The actress gave a little background story of a gorgeous purple and gold bottle in her collection. The bottle was "the original genie bottle" of the 1960s hit sitcom that catapulted Eden into fame. Eden explained:
"It's not usually here. I keep it in the bank. It has a few nicks. It's been around a while. It's got a chip here and a chip there, but it's the real thing."

Besides Eden's bottle collections, the actress also showed her shelves of awards, memorabilia, books and much more. Also, there were pictures from when she was on the "Your Mother Wears Combat Boots" set and a photo with Presley.
More of the actress’s prized possessions included photos decking the walls of her home office from top to bottom. The framed snaps signified her moments from movie sets and her wedding. Eden ushered the camera crew to the outdoor plan of her home, where she showed off her pet dog, which was being catered to by her spouse. She showed off a large pool, noting that the “most wonderful thing about” her yard was the open view that flanked the alpine and forest backdrop.
Eden’s years as a veteran are filled with the memories of her lifetime achievements, but she has yet to close the curtain on her career. She was slated to appear in the Hazard Fest Autograph Convention Show in October 2023. The actress was also scheduled to make an appearance at the Rhode Island Comic Con in November 2023. The actress shared, per People, that those events were opportunities to connect with her fans. She explained:
"They're the best fans in the whole world. They're very well-read. They're good, nice people. When I get up on the big stage, I speak, and then I do the Q&A, I'm sometimes surprised. They know more than I do about my work!"
Eden also shared a story of how one of her fans became a close friend of hers. She relayed how pleasant it felt when fans remember her role as Jeannie.
