If a mermaid were wishing she could have a pet dog in the sea, there's a good chance that she would choose a seal. They're friendly, enthusiastic, curious, and most importantly, absolutely adorable. One you think about it, you can easily see the similarities and could instantly start calling them ocean dogs.
While the adorable ocean animals may be the first thing that you think of when you hear seals, when you combine NAVY SEALS with the furry creatures the combination is heartwarming!
This is what was recently caught on video as a group of SEALS were training on the beach and caught the attention of a fuzzy friend taking a leisurely stroll.
After watching them train, he decided to get into the action and show them how to properly seal!

Baby seals are usually separated from their mothers at an early age, which explains why this little guy was alone on the beach, but they still love to play! On average, the International Fund for Animal Welfare says they only spend about 4 days nursing before they go out and hunt on their own to survive.
There aren't that many seal pups that stay attached to their mothers for very long. While there were many NAVY SEALS worried about the well-being of the tiny pup, they were all able to breathe a big sigh of relief when they learned that important fact about its safety!
The one recording the precious video of the soldiers' ocean friend was their commanding officer. While the chilly water may have bothered the humans some, it didn't appear to affect the baby seal at all. Maybe he's got some tips on how to handle the swim.
It's obvious that the little guy supports the troops and wants to be part of the team!
While the little guy may have been a distraction, everyone kept working hard to train! Maybe they should make him an honorary member of the NAVY, I'm sure it would get a big seal of approval! What would you do if you had a fuzzy friend like this playing with you during a day at the beach?
