At 81, Martha Stewart Blows Fans Away With Sultry Selfies

Martha Stewart has been a prevalent figure in the home and lifestyle industry as she has been successful in multiple professions and endeavors over the course of her life. Most notably, Stewart has gained success through various business ventures, publishing opportunities, merchandising and electronic commerce. 

Stewart has hosted her own television shows and has also written for many magazines and newspapers, as well as authored her own cookbooks, which quickly became bestsellers. 

With such a long-lasting career, it’s amazing that the talented and busy woman has found the time to connect with her fans on various social media platforms. Despite being one of America’s sweethearts and one of the kindest people in the hospitality world, Stewart has been known to shock people with her adventurous ways every now and then. 

Something else plenty of women have struggled with is coming to terms with aging, as society’s standards can be pretty brutal and hard to meet. Just like her days working as a stockbroker, Stewart has accepted aging with nothing but grace and conviction as she has completely come into her own. 

On her Instagram account, one could see that Stewart is fond of posting photos of herself, including selfies, among many other things. In several 2023 posts, Stewart has proven once again that despite being 81 years old, she still looks as alluring and graceful as ever in her new photos. 

Meanwhile, both admirers and detractors of Stewart have flocked to the comments section, both showing love and calling her out because of her fantastic new selfies.

Stewart defied the odds and broke boundaries when she quickly skyrocketed to success with her own company, and she has since inspired women all around the world to work on achieving their own goals. 

“I think I helped so many other women believe in their own ideas and their own business plans and their paths to glory,” Stewart said at the time.

The innovative woman has certainly not shied away from the spotlight as she has continued to age and even posted a seductive selfie to Instagram in July 2020 with her lips pursed and her eyes making direct contact with the camera while sitting in her swimming pool. Much like everything else Stewart has done during her career, the selfie was a hit with people and went viral and has since received over 243,000 likes.

"I took a pool selfie photo by mistake. I was trying to take a picture of the beautiful turquoise planter at the end of the pool, but the camera was on me, so I just snapped it. It looked so good, so I posted it,” she said in the comments after many described the photo to be a thirst trap. "I didn’t know what a 'thirst trap' was, but now I do. Now I’m looking for the next thirst trap. I love doing those promiscuous, provocative things because it’s just fun," she added.

Three years later, Stewart is still enjoying posting photos of the same nature – flaunting her beauty confidently and resisting the cold arms of aging. 

In a new photo on her Instagram account, Stewart has divided her fans on whether her unfiltered photos were true, as some are accusing her of giving everyone the illusion of how aging actually works.

In a photo posted on Jan. 29, 2023, Stewart made heads turn as she shared a selfie of her in a salon. With her eyes shut closed and her pinkish lips pouting effortlessly, the media personality showcased her flawless face, as if she’s actually half of her age. 

“Absolutely no re-imaging!!! Skin looking good after a mostly dry January and pilates every other day. By re-imaging I meant no filtering my selfie!” she captioned. 

While some called the 81-year-old celebrity a “hot mamma,” many have pointed out that her face reeked of plastic surgery and Botox. 

“There may be no filters, but how much Botox, fillers, fake eyelashes and eyebrows and lips and who knows how much makeup? Be your age and be proud of it, no one cares but you,” someone posted. 

In response to the mountain of backlash she received, Stewart posted another set of photos, which are three other selfies she took during the said trip to the salon. 

“My expression was better in the first one but my skin looks great in all of them. Un filtered. No face lift. Great derms my whole life. Currently dr Daniel Belkin and dr Dhaval Bhanusali great diet. Great exercise and did I mention amazing facials @mariobadescu for the last forty years!” she quipped.

Stewart revealed to People Magazine more about her prized dermatologists; however, people still seem to disregard her explanations. 

“Lots of plastic surgery; who are you kidding,” another said. 

But despite the negativity on her post, many have come to defend Stewart, showering her with love. 

“Don’t defend your beauty,,, every time I have done your makeup I have been impressed by your beautiful skin,” a fan advised. “Winning always,” model Ashley Graham commented.  

In April 2023, the 81-year-old made waves once again when she posted yet another thirst trap on Instagram. Stewart uploaded two photos in one post, and fans were amazed by how stunning she looked. In the first photo, Stewart pursed her lips in a pouty face and looked beautiful with her hair done and face full of natural-looking makeup. The second photo showed hairstylist John Barrett playing with Stewart’s hair while Stewart once again had her lips pursed out. 

Stewart captioned the post:

“My flight to Chicago was cancelled today Chicago O’Hara was closed mid morning to all flights because of very bad weather. I missed my speaking engagement at a huge gathering hosted by @beckershealthcare. This is the very first time in my career that I missed a contracted appearance and I felt really disappointed However I used the newly found time to get a manicure pedicure by Luda and a haircut by the maestro himself @johnbarrettnyc The new do is refreshing and lovely! Thanks John!!!”

It’s impressive to see how Stewart turned a frustrating situation into a positive one, and she also gave her fans something to smile about as well. Fans quickly flocked to the comment section to tell the 81-year-old just how stunning she looked.

One person commented, “Martha straight killin’ it.” Another said, “Looking fabulous Ms Martha.” Another fan chimed in and said, “Martha .. you are on 🔥!!!” Even comedian Jessimae Peluso commented, “Out here thirst trappin’, Martha!! 😍😍”

While some people criticized Stewart and accused her of having work done, others earnestly asked Stewart to share how she stays looking so fresh and youthful. One person commented: “I can't believe you are 81 years old girl you look amazing!!! What's your secrets?”
