While it's been nearly 50 years since Jane Seymour played a stunning Bond girl on the big screen, the actress still looks impeccable as a 72-year-old star. And even as she previously tried Botox once to exude a youthful glow, Seymour follows a beauty philosophy and regimen that makes her ageless.

Seymour believes that the mind, body and soul are connected, and that makes her beauty shine from within. In her March 2021 interview with Prevention, the British star revealed that a near-death experience made her see that the only thing that really matters and makes all the difference is the love one can give to another. Thus, she channeled her energy toward her personal growth and vowed not to waste a moment of her life.

The actress was filming in Spain in the 1980s when she experienced anaphylactic shock due to bronchitis. She had an out-of-body experience and saw the nurses trying to bring her back to life. Following that life-changing moment, Seymour's view on aging and dying changed.

Born Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg in 1951, Seymour's first movie was the 1970 war film "The Only Way" in the U.K. Three years later, she catapulted to international fame when she became a Bond girl in "Live and Let Die" starring Sir Roger Moore. The role of the clairvoyant Solitaire opened the doors for her in Hollywood.

After she was advised to lose her accent and speak with an American twang, Seymour was dubbed the "queen of the mini-series" because most of her acting projects were short TV shows. When she was doing "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" in the 1990s, Seymour was already an established actress in the U.S. when she met her fourth husband.

Having four serious relationships that ended in divorce made Seymour angry and depressed. However, she told People in January 2021 that the sooner she accepted the situation, dealing with the losses became easier.

Apart from her positive attitude about life and relationships, Seymour also takes very good care of her skin.

"I think having good skin is really the secret to not aging your face," Seymour told NewBeauty. "Using retinol at night, protecting yourself from the sun, using the great skincare that plumps your skin...and pretty much anything that makes me feel healthy, is the best anti-aging secret I know."

Her fans might think she follows a strict diet, but she's a self-confessed foodie. However, she grows her own vegetables and fruits to use as fresh ingredients in her kitchen. If she prefers to indulge, she loves pistachios, dark chocolate, and a glass of wine.

As for keeping active, Seymour does Pilates, some yoga, and sit-ups. She also has a habit of jiggling her spine, hips, knees and feet before getting out of bed, per The Zoe Report. The actress said it's important to listen to one's body because aging makes your body function differently.

In April 2023, the former Bond Girl admitted via the Evening Standard that she had plastic surgery on her eyes and breasts in her 40s. She also tried Botox but didn't think it helped with her acting, so she stopped after the first procedure.

"If I’m playing a woman of my age who has to be animated, I think it’s useful to actually have the muscles working," Seymour said of Botox.
