Sharon Stone began her career as a model and is still just as glowing as ever in her 60s. The actress celebrated her 66th birthday on March 10, 2024, and advocates for self-care and letting oneself age gracefully instead of being obsessed with looking youthful. The star posts regularly on social media, and fans are constantly taken aback by her timeless beauty. Now, new snaps of her lounging poolside in a plunging swimsuit and looking as stunning as ever have everyone clamoring to find out what her secret is.
While growing up in Meadville, Pennsylvania, Stone began entering pageant competitions, where judges encouraged her to try modeling. She then moved to New York City, where she signed with the Ford Modeling Agency. She then transitioned to acting and rose to prominence in the 1990s, portraying femme fatale figures.
After her film debut in “Stardust Memories,” she went on to find fame starring in movies such as “King Solomon's Mines,” “Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold,” “Total Recall,” “Basic Instinct,” “Last Action Hero,” “The Quick and the Dead” and “Casino.” She proved she was more than just a pretty face as well, earning critical acclaim and accolades for her talent as an actress, including being nominated for an Academy Award for her role as Ginger McKenna in “Casino.” She did, however, win a Golden Globe for the role. She has also won an Emmy Award for guest starring in “The Practice.” She received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1995.
Owing to her incredible screen presence, Stone is still an in-demand actress now, despite being a veteran in the entertainment business. Read on to find out how she keeps herself happy and healthy at 66.
Stone has had a soaring career with a personal life filled with ups and downs. Her first wedding was to television producer Michael Greenburg in 1984. She became engaged a few times until 1998 when she exchanged vows with journalist Phil Bronstein. However, their pairing was also not to be, and they divorced in 2004.
During Stone’s marriage to Bronstein, the star suffered numerous miscarriages due to an autoimmune condition called endometriosis, which results in infertility and difficulties carrying a child to full term. In her final attempt in 2000 to have a child naturally, tragedy struck.
“I had to go through painful surgery – and 36 hours of labour – to deliver a stillborn. It was on our way home afterwards, one of the darkest moments of my life, that I got a call from an adoption lawyer: he had a client with a baby boy due in a few weeks. Would I be his mother?” Stone wrote in an essay in Vogue.
Six weeks later, Stone became the mother of her first adopted son. After divorcing Bronstein, Stone went on to adopt two more children in 2005 and 2006.
“I’m now a single mother with three adopted sons, and it has been the great privilege of my life to raise them. When you adopt, you realise any child could be your child, any person could be your relative. After that you never see the world in the same way again,” she described her life now.
In December 2022, Stone made space in her home and heart for yet another child, but this time, under more unfortunate circumstances. When the single father of one of her son her son's friends passed away due to Parkinson’s, Stone decided to take him in, according to the Daily Mail.

Stone turned 65 2023 and looks as stunning as ever. However, she doesn't buy into the notion that one must look young to be beautiful. “I’m just happy — a happy person,” she told Vogue. “The idea that being youthful is the only thing that’s beautiful or attractive simply isn’t true. I don’t want to be an ‘ageless beauty,’ I want to be a woman who is the best I can be at my age.”
The star’s outlook on life and beauty is noted and appreciated by those around her. “Sharon is fearless and her zest for life is infectious,” said her make-up artist, Amy Oresman, in 2021. “She understands what real beauty is: self-love and self-care. Her looks are timeless because she knows beauty is not an hourglass, slowly dripping into nothingness.”
Stone’s mindset on appearances and beauty is inspiring to those around her. The actress and producer is adamant that women can be stunning at any age and continues to lead by example. “She is, once again, leading the charge and showing that women are as jaw-droppingly beautiful at 63 as they are at 27,” Oresman continued.
Stone regularly posts photos of herself exuding this timeless beauty in swimsuits that show off her lean figure on Instagram. She has earned the admiration of the likes of top model Naomi Campbell and fellow actress Jamie Lee Curtis, who lauded her in the comments of one picture that showed her relaxing cliffside in a plunging black one-piece.
The same sultry swimsuit made a comeback in her Instagram feed on Aug. 23, 2022, in a picture of her with candle designer Tina Manning, stylist Brandy Snow and Jennifer Lazarus. Still looking as toned and fit as ever, Stone also shared some insights into her health routine with WSJ magazine.

“My favorite breakfast is watermelon with feta cheese and mint, with olive oil and salt and pepper,” she said. “And then I usually have a piece of gluten-free sourdough toast with that and an herbal tea.”
Exercising is also an important aspect of Stone’s daily life.
“During Covid … I started devising different things that I just did for myself. I think squats are really important. If you do squats every day, that really does get your whole body together,” she said, adding, “I was a martial artist when I was young. I haven't practiced in decades, but I still like to do my punches.”
“I like to plank, and I have (young sons) so we do planking contests to see who can plank the longest. They can plank for half an hour,” the mother of three said.
Another workout she enjoys is swimming, as she explained, “I really like to swim, and I find that the butterfly is a really great overall workout for me, and a stroke that really works for my body overall.”
As with exercise, recovery is also key to a healthy mind and body.

And that was really, really, really helpful. So I sort of use herbs and teas as medicine. If my stomach’s upset, I drink lemon and ginger teas and peppermint teas and these kinds of gentle herb things. I’m very gentle with myself and the things that I use.”
The actress has continued to showcase her stunning body and wonderful personality on her Instagram account. On Aug. 27, 2022, Stone uploaded yet another gorgeous photo of herself wearing a bathing suit. She stunned in the colorful bikini in a sweet candid shot.
Stone captioned the photo, “Why do I always get in shape when summers over? 🤷🏼♀️😳”
While the actress may have thought she was at her peak as summer came to a close, we think she looks absolutely incredible all the time! Fans and celebrities left plenty of encouraging comments on the photograph, telling Stone how great they believed she looked. Many of them were also sure to include the fire emoji.
It’s not hard to see why the actress has so much confidence as she has grown to love her imperfections. According to PEOPLE, Stone was once broken up with by a younger partner for refusing to use Botox any longer, but that only made the actress more confident.
Speaking with Vogue Arabia, she explained how she encountered several medical problems following the time when she used to get Botox and filler, resulting in her having a “massive stroke” and needing more Botox to help make her face symmetrical. Afterward, Stone decided it was time to stop with the cosmetic procedures.
And after her former partner asked her if she used Botox, she only saw him once more before he broke up with her. “If you don’t see me for more than that, you’ll please find your way to the exit,” Stone said.
Nowadays, Stone loves her life. “I feel like this is the most exciting and creative period of my life,” she said. “I feel really, really happy. I’ve never been this joyful.”

She also said that if you are beautiful, it doesn’t mean that is your only quality. She told Allure:
“People are incredibly unkind. They think if you're beautiful, you must be stupid, you must be shallow. If you're beautiful, we should make you feel small or less. Every person has gifts. And if beauty is one of them, we should accept it and enjoy it as a gift from nature... If someone's beautiful, for God’s sake, let them be beautiful.”
Back in July 2022, Stone had amazed fans once again with a beautiful bikini photo that she posted on Instagram. She captioned the post, “Gratefully Imperfect on a Perfect Day ❣️.”
Unfortunately, some people left crude comments that criticized Stone for her appearance and for posting a photo like that as someone her age. One person even said, “A reminder that 60 is definitely not the new 30! 😂”
However, plenty of others chimed in to show Stone some love and commend her for being so authentic. On top of that, she looked gorgeous! One fan commented, “IMPERFECT ?!?! Are u joking?!?! U look PERFECT!!!”
Model Paulina Porizkova wrote, “And like a goddess, she laughs at the mortals😉” Actress and former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Rinna simply stated, “Legend!”
Stone has yet to post another swimsuit selfie following the summer of 2022, but her Instagram has been filled with plenty of other beautiful photos. From showing off the charities she’s involved with to looking absolutely breathtaking on award show carpets, it’s safe to say that there’s nothing Stone can’t accomplish.

The star looked radiant and svelte in the mirror selfie she shared while donning the revealing swimsuit in a room in her house. Stone captioned the photo, “Ready for summer💋😎” and earned some encouraging comments from her famous friends, such as Michelle Pfeiffer, Priyanka Chopra, Tiffani Thiessen and Rita Ora.
While Stone cut a stunning figure that makes it hard to focus on anything else in the photo, eagle-eyed fans managed to catch an unexpected cameo in the background. The room Stone is posing in features a large framed photo of Marilyn Monroe on the wall with a floor-to-ceiling pillar in the corner. Around a coffee table filled with books and knick-knacks were a lounge chair and a cozy-looking sofa with blankets and cushions on it. However, on the sofa and barely visible behind a large decorative bust lay the cutest little intruder – Stone’s tiny little French bulldog named Bandit.
“It’s the background situation for me,” one user commented upon discovering the little surprising cameo. “Your dog! 😂” another perceptive fan wrote.
Stone had adopted the wee canine back in 2018, and in an Instagram post, celebrated his arrival into the household. “Joe and I welcome his new pal Bandit. #JoeStone #BanditStone #family ❤️” Stone wrote in the caption, referring to her older dog Joe, also a French bulldog. She later posted an adorable video of her two fur babies getting to know each other better, with Bandit showing off his excitable energy.
