At 57, Brooke Shields Stuns Alongside Her 2 Daughters Who Are Growing Up Beautifully

Brooke Shields is famous for being one of Hollywood's most beautiful women. From the late 1970s, when she rose to popularity while still a teenager, to her sitcom-starring roles in television in the 1990s, Brooke has remained absolutely gorgeous every step of the way.

Brooke was born on May 31, 1965, in Manhattan, New York. She is the daughter of actress and model Teri Shields and businessman Francis Alexander Shields. Brooke first found her footing in the entertainment industry as a child model before landing the leading role in “Pretty Baby” in 1978. She found more success as an actress and went on to star in “The Blue Lagoon” and “Endless Love.” Brooke even made several appearances in TV shows such as “The Middle” and “Friends.”

Still acting, albeit less frequently, Brooke settled down and started a family with her husband, Chris Henchy, in 2001, and together the couple has two daughters. Prior to this, Brooke had been married to tennis player Andre Agassi. Over the years, Brooke has shared many precious moments with her girls – Rowan Henchy and Grier Henchy – and the world has been lucky enough to watch them grow up right in front of our eyes.

One moment that stood out for Brooke was when her daughter Rowan made a heartwarming choice for her prom dress. Brooke had kept the gown that she wore to the 1998 Golden Globes when she was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for "Suddenly Susan."

Of course, Brooke made sure to commemorate the occasion by posting it online. However, this wasn’t the only time Brooke shared a heartwarming photograph of her kids. The 57-year-old actress has continued to rave about her girls, sharing how they are growing into beautiful young women.

It's not uncommon for celebrity parents to allow their children to follow in their footsteps from an early age, but Brooke is obviously more interested in her daughters having a regular upbringing before they potentially pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Speaking with Social Life in 2018, Brooke said:

“Well, my older one loves musical theater and really enjoys doing school plays. And then my younger one has people coming up to her encouraging her left and right. But, listen, it’s a cutthroat and demoralizing business. Plus, they want you when they want you, and you have to be there for auditions and work, and my kids aren’t missing school. After college, if they still have the bug, they can pursue it then, but school is first.”

In general, motherhood is something that Brooke holds close to her heart. “Being with my children is one of the purest joys that I have,” Brooke shared. She has watched Rowan and Grier grow up right in front of her eyes, from precious tots eager to learn to teenagers ready to take on the world.

Despite their young ages, Brooke has continued to be amazed by Grier and Rowan. In 2018, she spoke with Porter about how mature her girls – then aged 12 and 15 – already were:

“They’re so much more mature than I was. So much more confident in their own bodies. They have the same stubbornness and strength that I do, but are more well-adjusted. I am jealous as all hell about that. But, of course, I created it.”

In 2019, Brooke spoke with PEOPLE about how blown away she was by how Rowan and Grier were not only aware of themselves and their beauty but how much they appreciated the bodies that kept them moving.

“Their bodies are so important to them,” she said. “Whatever you say is heard, so you have to really be careful how you say whatever it is you’re saying to girls in particular.” The actress added, “I really have to be like, ‘How would this sound if it was said to me at 13?’ I celebrate the differences in their bodies.”

Speaking with TODAY, Brooke gave her teenage daughters some advice on growing older:

"Make the most out of every single chapter, because they're all unique for something different. Don't rush it, enjoy it — and don't try to be anybody else other than who you are … It's hard to find out who that is. Listen to yourself."

It’s evident that Rowan and Grier are growing up to be just as beautiful and kind-hearted as Brooke. In September 2022, the mom shared a heartwarming photo of herself and her daughters on Instagram with the caption:

“My pride and joy. My whole heart. My girls. Happy #nationaldaughtersday 💗”

Many of the comments praised Brooke for still looking so beautiful, and several more always praised her daughters for clearly inheriting her wonderful genes. One person commented, “Your youngest looks so much like you Brooke 💗they are both so gorgeous and seem like such smart and nice girls!💕💕💕”

In November 2022, Brooke shared more heartwarming photos of her and her daughters. She captioned the post:

“My heart ❤️ I hope you felt full of love, gratitude, and turkey yesterday! Sending love from our family to yours.”

Again, people shared their thoughts on how stunning the whole family looked. One person summed it up nicely and said, “Daughters are so beautiful like their mom.”
