At 56, Nicole Kidman Flaunts Her Toned Body In Risqué Black Cutout Dress On The Red Carpet

Born Nicole Mary Kidman on June 20, 1967, the actress is one of the most recognizable stars in the Hollywood industry as she appeared in several films and television shows throughout her career.

Although her parents are Australian, the star was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. At the time of her birth, her mother, a nursing instructor, and her father, a biochemist, clinical psychologist and an author, were temporarily living in the United States through student visas.

Later in life, Kidman got inspired to pursue a career in acting after she witnessed the performance of Margaret Hamilton as the Wicked Witch of the West in the 1939 movie “The Wizard of Oz.”

However, she had to overcome her shyness as she revealed in a 2000 interview with Talk Magazine, as reported by Talent Develop, that she had a stutter when she was a kid.

Fortunately, the actress was able to gain confidence and later attended the Phillip Street Theatre. She also attended the Australian Theatre for Young People during her teenage years.

In 1983, Kidman appeared in her first movie ever, “Bush Christmas.” Her career never stopped there as she continued to star in several TV shows and movies live “Five Mile Creek,” “BMX Bandits,” “Windrider” and more.

She later amassed a massive following and fame after she appeared in her most iconic projects to date such as “Eyes Wide Shut,” “Moulin Rouge!,” “Dogville” “Paddington” and more.

Kidman first got married to Tom Cruise in 1990, but their relationship only lasted for 11 years as they divorced in 2001. By 2006, the actress tied the knot with Australian country music star Keith Urban.

Since Kidman is always in the public eye due to the status of her popularity, she has to make sure she always looks her best whenever she faces the flickering cameras and fans at different events.

In July 2023, the actress took to her official Instagram account and shared photos of herself at the London premiere of the Paramount+ Original series “Special Ops: Lioness,” along with her co-star Zoe Saldaña.

Fans were surprised to see the actress as she was able to pull off a very revealing dress and even flaunted her abs despite her age at the time.

According to Page Six Style, the actress wore a black cut-out halter dress by Saint Laurent. It appears that Kidman wanted the public to focus on her glamorous, yet daring, dress as she kept it simple. She only accessorized her look with a pair of sheer black gloves and a black clutch. The total ensemble was completed with a pair of strappy heels.

Regarding beauty, Kidman opted for a minimalist makeup look with a simple blush on her cheeks, neutral-colored lipstick and voluminous eyelashes to highlight her blue eyes. Her hairstyle was also simple as she wore her gorgeous blonde locks in a low ponytail.

This wasn’t the first time the actress left fans shocked with her outfit as she also wore a sheer cutout dress in 2008.

At the time, Kidman was in Tokyo, Japan, for the premiere of her movie “The Golden Compass.” The star’s look was composed of a dress with a bralette-style top and the ensemble was completed with different textures of fabric including lace.

After Kidman graced the premiere night of her 2023 TV show, fans praised her in the comment section of her post as they noticed her toned body as well as her beauty.

“The perfect combination of classy and sexy,” one wrote.

“You remind me of a bygone era. The modern version of some of the greatest female Hollywood stars. Classy, Intelligent and Graceful. ❤️ you do command the room!” another one wrote.

Since Kidman flaunted her abs, many wondered what diet the actress followed in order to achieve such a body.

In a 2014 interview with the Los Angeles Times, the actress said she was not strict with her diet as she told the publication, "I pretty much eat anything, but all in moderation."

In a separate interview with Women’s Health in 2013, Kidman said: 

"It's walking a path that's ultimately 80% healthy, 20% … sometimes it falls to 70. But that's why I think you have things like natural health remedies — you find out what works for you. And I do a lot and I have a lot of energy."

Kidman also loves to indulge in dishes from her homeland of Australia as Food & Wine Magazine wrote, as reported by Insider. The actress enjoys seafood such as lobster, prawns, rock oysters, mud crabs and more.

The actress also told Vogue in her “73 Questions” video that she loves “homemade warm bread with (Parmigiano) Reggiano.” Regarding her least favorite meal, Kidman said she didn’t like ham.
