At 55, Renée Zellweger Has Fallen Head Over Heels With Reported Fiancé 10-Years Her Junior

Renée Zellweger, 55, is a talented actress who has graced the screen for three decades. Although Zellweger is a successful actress, she wasn’t initially interested in acting. Zellweger and country singer Kenny Chesney took the marital plunge in May 2005, barely five months after they met in January 2005, at NBC's Concert of Hope tsunami aid telethon. The pair were married for four months until the “Judy” star filed an annulment of their marriage, citing fraud as the reason for the union’s end. After the union ended, Zellweger dated Bradley Cooper and Doyle Bramhall II.

Anstead has been married twice. He was married to his first wife, Louise, for 12 years until their marriage ended in 2017. Being a private person, the reason for their divorce was unknown, but the former couple shares two children, Amelie and Archie.

Barely months after his divorce, Anstead started dating real estate investor Christina Hall in October 2017. The duo, who a mutual friend introduced, explored their connection and started dating. Anstead and Christina got married one year into their relationship in December 2018. The pair were married for two years until they split in September 2020. During the course of their marriage, the former couple ran a blended family and share a child, Hudson, together.

“Renee and Ant are keeping their plans incredibly private, they’re not planning a big public announcement,” the source said. “She has been telling her inner circle about organising their nuptials, everything will be very low-key,” the source added.

“Her relationship with Ant is super strong and they’re madly in love, and they can’t wait to get hitched,” the source further revealed.

The news of their reported engagement comes months after a source close to the couple informed People in March 2023 that Zellweger and Antstead were committed to a long-term relationship. The source shared that the bond between the lovebirds was getting stronger by the day. The source also added that although Anstead was taking the relationship one step at a time, he might be leaning toward proposing soon.

"Ant is very happy with Renée. He really loves her," the source said before adding, "Ant doesn't want to rush things."

Besides sources close to the couple sharing that Zellweger is very fond of Anstead, his Instagram is proof of his love for her. Although both of them are mostly private, Anstead occasionally posts cuddled-up pictures of himself and Zellweger with captions celebrating their love. In one of his Instagram posts, he shared a picture of himself and Zellweger sharing a kiss and wrote a simple caption expressing his love.

“This lady ❤️ x Ren,” he wrote.
