Star twin brothers Dylan and Cole Sprouse are pretty much a part of many TV fans’ childhoods from the mid-'90s through to the 2000s. This is due to their undeniable talent and resonance on TV shows and movies like “Friends,” “Big Daddy” and “The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody.”
More of their notable appearances can be gleaned from projects like "Grace Under Fire '' which was their first gig. The adorable duo had alternatively played Patrick Kelly from 1993 to 1998. The twins became well-known for more of their impressive roles as time went on.
The Hollywood twins who once graced the big screen as child stars in "Big Daddy" are well into their adulthood years and living it up in their careers. Here is a look through the lives of one of America's favorite pair of Hollywood twins.
After Dylan and Cole did some gigs together as kids, they progressed by bagging separate jobs. In 2001, Cole played Ross Geller's son in "Friends." Following "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody," Dylan and Cole reprised their roles in the teen sitcom, "The Suite Life on Deck'' which ran for three seasons. They also played the same roles in "The Suite Life Movie." They took a break from acting and enrolled at New York University in 2010. The pair graduated in 2015.
After college, the brothers returned to acting, with Cole getting a role in "Riverdale" and "Five Feet Apart." Dylan also landed roles in movies like "Banana Split," "Dismissed" and "After We Collided."
But the brothers did not only focus on acting. Dylan became a brewmaster and co-owner of All-Wise Meadery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Meanwhile, Cole took up an interest in photography and has worked for big-shot magazines like Teen Vogue and many more.
Regarding their personal lives, Dylan married model Barbara Palvin in 2023, while Cole dated actress Lili Reinhart for some years before their 2020 split. In March 2023, he opened up on his relationship with the actress on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast. He shared that they "both did a lot of damage to each other."
He explained that it was not easy for them to navigate their relationship while working together. Cole included that they remained good friends despite their separation. He became romantically linked to model Ari Fournier in March 2021.
While speaking about his relationship with Reinhart, Cole shared that his mum had forced him and his brother to work when they were kids. He relayed:
"My brother and I were put into acting when we were 8 months old by our mother because we needed money. I never made the decision to join the arts or acting specifically. And so it was never really my passion.”
The actor shared that although his mother was "wonderful," she was also "financially irresponsible." He further explained that his mother's mental health and addiction problems contributed to the family's financial problems.
Many years after their childhood Hollywood endeavors, Cole and Dylan have not lost sight of their adorable beginnings. Cole was in the news in 2019 when he celebrated the 25th anniversary of "Friends" and honored his role by posting stills from some of his scenes on Instagram. While speaking with Today earlier in the same year, Cole shared his memories about "The One With the Holiday Armadillo." He said:
"I was infatuated with the costumes, and the practical effects that they had."

While speaking with Access Hollywood in April 2023 about his movie "Beautiful Disaster," Dylan joked about his run-in with Adam Sandler. Dylan was shown a short clip where Sandler mentioned he had run into his "Big Daddy" co-star. Sandler stated that he saw Dylan at "like 2 in the morning" when he was in a hotel in Paris where he was filming "Murder Mystery 2."
Dylan then joked that Sandler was "just old" because they ran into each other around 8 p.m. and not 2 a.m. He continued, "Like, dude, go to sleep." During the interview, the actor also recalled that filming "Big Daddy" took four months because Sandler watched basketball on set. He recalled, “We shot that movie for four months, Big Daddy, for four months.”
"Half of it was because between every take Adam had a cooler full of beer and a basketball setup that he would watch in between takes, and so it just dragged on,” he shared. Dylan however added that "it was amazing."
Cole also once shared his admiration for Sandler during the premiere of Sandler's 2019 movie, "Uncut Gems." While speaking to People in March 2022, Cole revealed:
"Perhaps I'm a bit biased because I've known him for ages, but I do admire his career. He's got a really, really wonderful balance between art and commerce that I think is the currency of a real working actor."
Cole included, "He's walking that line beautifully and he's raising up all of his friends at the same time, which I think is incredible."
While each twin keeps advancing in the spotlight in their careers, they never fail to dazzle fans with heartwarming twin moments like the time they posed on the Oscar Awards red carpet in March 2022.
