Andrea Bocelli is one of the most beloved classical singers of our time and by now, his reputation precedes him. The opera-tenor mostly sings in his native Italian and he is a frequent collaborator with other talented musicians. In fact, he is so revered for his musical output that dueting with him can bring a lot of favorable attention to whoever he works with.
Helene Fischer is a superstar singer herself. Hailing from Germany, Fischer has been hailed as the "Queen of Schlager,", which can roughly be compared to country music in Germany. Moreover, all her albums and DVDs have achieved multiple gold and double platinum statuses, making her one of the top music stars of Europe.
Interestingly, Fischer's fame came about when her mother sent a secretly recorded copied demo CD with six of Fischer's songs and sent it to different recording studios to gauge the reaction of professionals. This led to her getting an opportunity on television that became the catalyst to her blazing career. Her circle of fans extends beyond Germany into other countries like the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Sweden, England, Norway, and Finland.
Fischer and Bocelli got together in 2012 for a duet of the song "When I Fall in Love," which was originally composed in 1952. The song is timeless, however, as it continues to move people even today. When two legends in the music industry come together to perform this song together, it becomes a magical moment that will always be remembered. Bocelli and Fischer were joined by the American trumpet player Chris Botti for their song rendition.

Bocelli has been impressing the world with his voice for decades. After showing an interest in music from the age of six, Bocelli won his first singing competition at 14. He got his professional start in the early '90s when he was in his 30s, and his career has only continued to go from strength to strength.
Bocelli has managed to build his career over the period of nearly three decades and has worked with some of the biggest names in contemporary music including Luciano Pavarotti, Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Sarah Brightman, Ed Sheeran, and even Jennifer Lopez and Ariana Grande. He also often performs with members of his family, who are all musically inclined. In the past, he has performed with his wife Veronica Berti and his daughter Virginia Bocelli.
Fischer has an impressive singing record too, and has made an impressive mark in her home country already. She released her first album in English in 2010, and Last.fm reported that she said, "I have always dreamed of singing my songs in another language. English is the language of Country, the music that we call ’Schlager’. Language is a tool, but it is important that what you sing comes from the heart – and that is what this album is about."
So when Fischer and Bocelli, two of the biggest musical personalities in Europe, came together to sing a beautiful rendition of "When I Fall In Love," there was a lot of celebration. The video of the duet is also truly enchanting and is sure to move fans and viewers.

In the video below, it is hard to tell who is the star of the beautiful performance — Andrea, Helene, or the talented trumpet player who brought the show together.
The show kicked off by David Foster who informs Bocelli that he will be singing with someone he has never performed with and introduces the talented Fisher. David also calls to stage Chris Botti, an American trumpeter and composer.
Many artists have covered the timeless "When I Fall in Love," and some of the more notable artists who have sung this song are the great Nat King Cole, Celine Dion, Clive Griffin, Rick Astley, and Donny Osmond.
As the show begins, it is clear that all three musicians played their roles perfectly, it was as if the three of them had been performing together for years! One viewer describes it perfectly in the comments as they wrote:
I have always loved AB from his first album, this Helene woman is incredible and so beautiful. Unfair to give so much beauty and talent to one! The trumpet player is also magnificent! What a gorgeous blend of sounds. The orchestra totally complement and never take over. A wonderful track.
As the song unfolds in the video, the angelic voices of Bocelli and Fischer mingle to produce a harmony that can stir the soul, and Botti's music cascades with the voices to create a true masterpiece. It is not often that such gifted personalities come together to create a performance like this, but thankfully when it does happen, they are recorded for people to keep coming back to.
