'Alf' Is Getting A Reboot, So Make Sure You Keep An Eye On Your Cats

Warner Brothers has decided to bring back one of the most popular television shows of the '80s. ALF, which was an acronym for alien life form, was a TV show that aired from September of 1986 to March of 1990 on the NBC Network. There were many television shows about alien life forms back during those times. However, ALF was much different from the cute little extraterrestrial in the movie ET, and he was very different from the puppets that children see on Sesame Street.
He was a whole different breed of extraterrestrial, and the television show often pushed the envelope with some of the antics that they had him doing.
He was rude, sarcastic and not very well-mannered.
He'd do things like try to put a kitty cat in between two pieces of bread and bring electrical appliances into the bathtub. That was one of the episodes that they had to go ahead and rerecord because it causes a child to attempt to do the same thing. You see, children were watching this show because of the puppet factor, and they were being influenced by the events that took place. The producers often had to tone down some of the content so that the show could be aired on television.

The show did quite well during all four of its seasons. It was tied with the television show "Hunter" in the Nielsen ratings during its first season. In tied with "The Wonder Years" during its second season. It gave Monday Night Football a run for its money in the third season, and it tied with both "Family Matters" and "Jake and the Fatman" during his final season.
It's a mystery why the show got canceled in the first place, but apparently, they are working on a reboot for it.
The has been confirmed at Warner Brothers television is in the very early stages of creating the reboot, but not much more information has been given. They have not said who the writer will be. They have not a stated whether any of the original cast members will be in it. They haven't announced much at all other than the fact that the show will be released. Will it work?
Nobody knows. many television shows have been resurrected to a successful fate. but then there's a slew of other out after they had been dead for so long. We just don't know whether this television show has the same magic that it had in the early 1980s. Warner Brothers and the viewers will have a lot of fun trying to find that out though.
Tell all your loved ones the news about this reboot and be sure to watch the show when it returns!
