Keanu Reeves’ girlfriend Alexandra Grant is a visual artist who is 6’1” with a full head of gray hair. She revealed on Thursday in an interview with British Vogue that she is unfazed by what others think of her look, and is just fine with not “fitting in” as actor Keanu’s girlfriend.

Keanu Reeves’ love life has been low-profile for many years, so when the 55-year-old and Alexandra made their relationship public, it’s no surprise that Hollywood (and the rest of us) want to know more.

Besides the news of their relationship, comments about the 46-year-old’s looks have been circulated online. To this, she says she doesn’t care. During her interview with British Vogue on Wednesday, she shared:

"I’m a 6ft 1in woman with white hair. You know, the idea of fitting in... If I wanted to look like Kim Kardashian, I would have to have surgery removing about a foot off my legs."

According to the Daily Mail, Alexandra said that her hair turned gray prematurely, and explained why she no longer colors it. "I went gray prematurely in my early 20's, and dyed my hair every color along the way until I couldn't tolerate the toxicity of the dyes any more," she wrote in an instagram post.

"I am a huge believer in choice – whatever anyone wants to do to feel confident," she said of her commitment to the color.

"We should all have more options as to what beauty is. There are billions of us."

The couple's status, which was confirmed back in November 2019, is something Alexandra says she is still trying to process, as she looks for the "opportunity for good." In 2011, she published a book called Ode to Happiness, which says she wrote as a token of affection to Keanu.

"The book was made as a surprise, by me, for Keanu, as a private gift," she said. "All our friends sitting in the room got the giggles when I gave it to him – they said, ‘Please publish it!’ So that’s how we got into publishing."
