Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson Flaunts Slimmer Figure In Photos After Weight Loss Procedure

Alana Thompson, also known as "Honey Boo Boo," was born on Aug. 28, 2005, in McIntyre, Georgia. She rose to fame as a child beauty pageant contestant on the reality television show "Toddlers & Tiaras," which aired from 2009 to 2013. In August of 2022, Alana posted multiple photos on her Instagram showing her excitement for her new school year ahead. She captioned the senior pictures of herself and said, "senior year!! 💗" She was pictured wearing a black top with a beautiful smile as well as some fun senior picture poses.

The pictures collection garnered more than 75,000 impressions and many comments. The world couldn't believe Alana had grown up so fast! One person commented on her pictures and said, "So amazing. So proud of you." Another wrote, "OMG 😢😢 you're growing up so fast Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️❤️" 

Aside from fans adoring and applauding Alana over the senior pictures, her manager, Gina Rodriguez, said the star had more exciting personal news. She told E! In July 2022, Alana would be going through a weight loss procedure before starting her senior year of high school. She added the star has been on a weight loss journey for some time. 

"Yes it's true she is having it done next month," Rodriguez said about Alana undergoing a minimally invasive procedure. "It's a non-surgical procedure, suture sculpt endoscopic sleeve," Rodriguez added. 

Rodriguez went on to say, "Alana has been losing weight for months now and wants to do the procedure because she thinks it will help her lose more and keep it off." 

TMZ also reported at the time, Alana had reached 275 pounds and was hoping the surgery would help her reach her goal weight of 150 pounds.

On Jan. 31, 2023, Alana posted photos on Instagram of herself looking leaner and healthier, which thrilled her followers. In the pictures, Alana was dressed in a denim jacket over a red top, paired with black flared pants and sneakers that showed off her recent weight loss. Her fans couldn't help but admire her trim figure and took to the comments like a house on fire.

"Looking good, young lady!! Been falling you since you were on tiara and toddlers. Lost a lot of weight!!!" one fan commented while another wrote, "You look so beautiful. You have put the work in kiddo and it shows❤️"
