"AGT" Star Kodi Lee's Mother 'Never Expected' Her Son Would Become So Famous From His Talent

One 22-year-old, Kodi Lee, is a pianist and singer who happens to be autistic and blind. Lee stole hearts when he performed for "America's Got Talent," and received the golden buzzer which sent him all the way to the live shows. Since performing Lee's had become a viral hit online. Lee's mom has shared how she never thought could become so famous from his talent.
Lee put on another brilliant performance that yet again had everyone emotional. He sang "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Paul Simon while playing the piano. Gabrielle Union who gave Kodi the Golden Buzzer from his first performance told him after his most recent, "Who you are and what you stand for and what you continued to do makes the world such a better and so much more of a beautiful place," Gabrielle said.
"We have to stop putting limits on our children. We have to keep believing in each other. Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey,"she continued.

Lee's mom, Tina told People, "I’m beyond proud of him, this whole thing has been magical, just to see the way that people are accepting him and loving him, it’s magical.” Lee's original performance on youtube has garnered more than 43 million views while his latest performance has already hit over 6 million.
“I never expected this to happen,” Tina said of her son's popularity. “I feel relieved I’m not the only one who’s seen this extraordinary ability. He’s got a real talent, and I’ve always known he’s this real talent," she added.
Tina also said that Lee loves his fans and will not even stop to breathe as he interacts with them online by liking and responding to every comment. "He just builds off the love and support for everybody, he loves his supporters!"
