Affectionate Corgi Nuzzles Up Fellow Dogs He Meets On His Walks

Wallace, a 1-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, hugs nearly every fellow dog he meets during his walks.

The world might benefit from more people with a loving nature. Perhaps humans need a lesson from one of our four-legged friends. A fun-loving little corgi might be more upbeat and outgoing than your average friendly dog. This little beastie enjoys hugging every dog it passes on the street, as you'll see in this adorable Instagram video from October 3.

You would think the Corgi would be fearful of other canines. You'd also think some temperamental dogs might not like the Corgi's actions. Well, surprise, it seems the fellow dog travelers have insights into the Corgi's intentions. They seem to realize little Wallace wants the world to be a happier place, at least for dogs.

Like other dogs, Wallace the Corgi goes out for walks with his owner. Dogs may growl and bark when passing one another on the street. The dogs don't do so out of "meanness."

Rather, that's how some dogs respond when they don't know the other canine. And some dogs treat each other with indifference. In Wallace's case, he opts for a loving response.

Wallace is only a year old, so maybe he is a little naive about how the world works. Since the other dogs respond to him positively, he may not change his ways with age. Maybe there's a lesson to learn here.

As The Dodo reported, owner Noah Raminick realizes that walking Wallace around the neighborhood may take some time. The little pup enjoys saying hello and hugging his fellow furry friends. A few dogs may feel surprised about this stranger showing affection, but Wallace wants to make friends and play.

He loves humans and dogs alike, and he probably makes his canine brothers and sisters' days a lot better, thanks to his displays of affection. Photographs of him hugging other dogs shows the sentiment to be true.

What about all those big dog breeds? Does Wallace show any fear? No, little Wallace has no problem showing some heartfelt affection towards the big dogs. The little pup definitely has a big heart.

“He’s the biggest sweetheart,” Raminick told The Dodo.

Wallace doesn't come on too strong, though. He approaches carefully to make sure the other dog doesn't get upset or scared. If things are okay, Wallace may go in for a hug.
