Adele Slams Dramatic Beauty Filter After Fan Turns It On While Filming Video At Star's Las Vegas Residency

Adele is one of the greatest voices in the music industry today. She has been topping the charts since her popular song "Chasing Pavements" hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart back in 2009. Since then, Adele has given us timeless hits, such as "Hello," "Rolling in the Deep," "Someone Like You," "All I Ask," and "Rumor Has It," among many others.

Last November 2021, Adele released her most recent album, "30," her fourth studio album to date. Although it took a bit longer to release than his previous works, the singer had a lot of things to do during that period.

Instead of making music, Adele has focused on her family and her own health in the last few years. The singer decided to take a huge leap forward regarding her health and lost almost 100 pounds. 

Ushering her new and more confident self is her new era that came in the form of her new album, "30." As part of her unending love for her fans, Adele announced that she would be embarking on her very-first Las Vegas Residency in January 2022. 

However, because of some hiccups internally, a "gutted" Adele was forced to cancel the string of concerts indefinitely. With fans frustrated about the last-minute pulling of the plug, they patiently waited for the rescheduled dates. 

After a few months of anticipation, Adele confirmed that she would finally continue her Las Vegas concerts, titled "Weekends With Adele," at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on November 2022 until March 2023. 

In one of her most recent concerts, Adele, like the loving singer she is, approached one of her fans, who was videotaping their interaction through her phone. But as soon as Adele smiled for the camera, she was horrified by the sight of herself glammed up on the screen.

British singer Adele became an international superstar for her singing and songwriting. Born on May 5, 1998, with the full name of Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, the singer grew up in the Tottenham district of London with her mother, Penny Adkins. Adkins raised Adele as a single mother when Adele was just two years old, as Adele's father, Marc Evans, left the family. 

Eventually, Adele and her mother moved back to London in 1999, where they first settled in Brixton and then moved again to West Norwood. Adele ended up attending a performing arts school, the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in Croydon, and she graduated in May 2006. It's no surprise that she rose to stardom, as she was classmates with other famous vocalists, such as Leona Lewis and Jessie J. Only a few months after graduation, Adele started recording her own music.

Adele has been a recipient of a total of fifteen Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year and Album of the Year. Her new album, "30," and single, "Easy on Me," were nominated for six Grammys in the upcoming ceremonies in 2023.

Supposedly, "Weekends With Adele," her very first concert residency, should have taken place last Jan. 21, 2022. However, on the same day, Adele tearfully announced the postponement on her Instagram account. 

"I'm so sorry but my show ain't ready. We've tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we've been actually destroyed by delivery delays and COVID. Half my crew and my team are down with COVID; they stil are. Its been impossible to finish the show. I can't give you what I have right now.

Fans were absolutely elated upon the resumption of Adele's Las Vegas Residency last Nov. 18, 2022. With many flew from all over the world to witness the singer-songwriter's brilliance in performing and singing her heart out. 

Among the most laudable moments of her concerts is a video of her ending the show with a magical trick – vanishing after a mountain of pink confetti fell to the stage. 

But aside from her magic trick, Adele recently went viral after a video of her and a fan was uploaded and started making waves online. 

Instagram model Jamy was one lucky fan. While Adele was interacting with her fans offstage while she was singing "When We Were Young," Jamy couldn't help but feel overwhelmed when the singer approached and hugged her. 

Trying to capture the precious moment on video, Jamy made sure she looked good on it. But when Adele came to her and smiled at the camera – she was nothing but horrified upon seeing herself and Jamy with an aggressive beauty filter. 

"Is there a filter on that?!" she shockingly said.

"Oh my god, what have you done to my face? Woah, get that filter off my face; that's so weird! Why are you doing filters like that? We don't look like that, darling."

The crowd laughing at their hilarious interaction didn't stop Adele from asking her the real question she intended to ask. 

"What's one of your favorite memories from when you were a child? When you were young?" Adele asked. However, it seemed like the intimacy of the whole moment got into Jamy, and she started being overwhelmed with emotions. But despite not answering Adele's question, Jamy was still proud of the interaction and posted the clip on Instagram. 

At least Jamy made sure she looked pretty when hugging Adele!
