Adele Is Now Being Called 'Too Skinny' After Years Of Being Fat Shamed

The rampant misogyny in our society causes people to judge women on their bodies constantly. And the women can never win-if they are skinny, they are criticized for being too thin; if they are blessed with womanly curves, society declares they are too fat. This has happened to the Grammy-award winning star Adele as recent reports reveal.
Fat shaming
Adele, who is the singer for Rolling in the Deep, is clearly gorgeous and charismatic. However, this winner of multiple Grammys and an Oscar has faced constant criticism over her weight, with many people constantly criticizing her for being too heavy, despite her weight not being any of their business and clearly not affecting her successful career in any way.

Recently, Adele was spotted vacationing in Anguilla with good friends Harry Styles and James Corden. It was obvious she had lost quite a bit of weight since the last time she was seen in public, as was reported here in The Sun.
The now 31-year-old has experienced some major life changes in the past year. She split with her husband, Simon Konecki, in April 2019, and the two divorced five months later, although they did issue a public statement that while they were no longer together, they planned to raise their son jointly.
After the divorce, Adele decided that while she was making changes to her life, she was going to focus on her health. She embarked on an exercise program that includes Pilates, cardio, and circuit training. US Weekly found out from someone close to Adele that she had lost over 20 pounds after embarking on her fitness program. The source said:
“She really wants to be healthy and set a good example for her son. She’s more focused on feeling good and the health benefits than the weight loss.”
According to Ray Abdwell, a nutritionist and body expert who studied her before and after photographs, she appears to have lost 15 to 20 pounds evenly from all areas of her body. He went on to discuss in detail the changes he observed in her body, including commenting rather rudely on her clavicle and jawline definition and the shapes of her limbs. It's rather bizarre for someone who doesn't even know Adele to so intensely engage in studying her body, don't you think?
Skinny shaming
Other people have been criticizing her weight loss on Twitter and other social media platforms. Previously, she received non-stop ridicule about "being too fat," and now she is receiving non-stop ridicule for "being too thin." One rude Tweeter even stated that her weight loss made her look like a 60-year-old with a big head and an emaciated body.
Another was angry about the idea that she might be happy about her weight loss. Other Tweeters became irate at how everyone was always focused on the singer's weight, instead of actually important things. Hollystream the Sad Vegan captured this the best, Tweeting:

Exactly.
